They have consistently gone above and beyond to advocate for me when insurance issues arise; ensure that I understand new drugs; and fill my scripts as soon as I need them. And John always takes the time to answer my questions over the phone when I've been prescribed new medication and need assurance about side effects, interactions, etc. They make me feel like family--I am lucky to be so cared for by the staff at Northeast Pharmacy! I've unfortunately moved away to a large city where the market is saturated by corporate pharmacies that simply don't cater to its customers the way a small business like Northeast Pharmacy can. Although I have my own problems I have been able to remain healthy. Two years ago I was in a car accident (not at fault) which left me with cervical spine injury and spinal cord compression. My treating providers send all my RX to the pharmacy located 16mile/Metro Parkway. However, Julian (pharmacist) decides how I'm to be treated. My MAR has two RX for Gabapentin which means that he is being bias based on prejudice to my pain management. Since I no longer have insurance he will not fill my pain medication. My migraines have increased because the previous Duloxetine they issued was non theraputic causing "brain zaps" which a pharmacist should know what that means. They ordered from a different supplier only to be able to give me a 30 day supply at a higher cost. And when it was time for another refill they're only able to give me a 15day supply stating it's still on backorder at an even higher expense. This is not gatekeeping nor is it in the best interest of their patients. If I could give them a zero it would be to much.
