I always receive assistance with using the perks. However this evening the clerk at the self checkout did not offer any assistance other than telling me to go into my account which I was already in it but I did not know how to apply the points. I told her but she only said to go into my account. No help and I was not able to use $10 reward. In addition she was not paying attention to the help lights. The bathrooms are awful. One bathroom was dirty The bathroom next to customer service has a handicap stall with a loose toilet seat. My 86 year old mother almost fell. I informed customer service who indicated we were the second complaint. So for those of you who fall, are injured, please know this was reported. read more

They do not honor prices. I have never been able to buy clothing here that is marked clearance. Its often marked incorrectly. Today, they refused to honor the price on a jacket. It was a yellow ticket item which was supposed to be an additional 50% off. It rang up as clearance but without the additional % off. They were acting like I was trying to steal it. I have never been treated so poorly by a store employee anywhere. Bottom line is don't expect customer service. I also had other items that didn't ring up correctly according to the signage, but let that go. It is not the customer's problem that you used the wrong color sticker. read more

I avoid going. But they carry items I like. The music is the worst. Too loud and who did the mix? Checking out is awful. One or two cashiers with long lines. My heart goes out to them. Self-checkout? I don't work there! Their cost cutting is so blatant and it's at the expense of their employees and customers. If u find an employee they do their best but usually look downtrodden. Stopped in today for some groceries. Produce was fresh and obviously well run. Meat cuts overall are too thin, it's easier to cook thicker cuts to correct temperatures. But the meats were well stocked. They had a very nice olive selection and I bought colossal castelvetrano olives. Nice! The wine area is a mess. I'm so tired of Meijer in Englewood! One .... Yes one cashier working to ring up items. I go to the self checkout, which I don't like doing.... Ring all my things up and the .... Customer needs assistance pop up..... the workers practically runs over.... Punch in his code. I ask " why did that pop up?" He said they thought you had more things in your cart..... I yell TRASH! All that was in there was my cell phones, my keys, the wipes that I clean the cart handle with and an empty produce bag because they did not have bananas! If they think everyone is a thief.... I love Meijer but please get more workers to stock. Their stock levels in certain critical places such as soap, hand soaps, cosmetics, spices, printing inks and papers, canned goods, etc., has been low. Please do better, workers. The plus side is that I have more options in the women's' clothing section. I see much more dresses and skirts and it's more like a department store type. read more

They harassed a customer with a service dog. manager tried to challenge and intimidate the owner because the dog (extremely well behaved) wasn't bearing badges in hot weather. when the owner cited the law states service dogs are not required to be advertised. The manager, then complained about the proximity to the grocery isle and the dog lying on the bottom of the cart thats used for groceries. The owner comically asked, how often they sanitize the carts and what's the difference between the dog, and potentially ill children with dirty shoes and hands? The manager started repeating himself, out of a lack of better things to say. The owner smiled and said he will take his business elsewhere. The dog, meanwhile was so well behaved it didn't take it's attention off the owner the entire time. read more

This is my regular grocery store since moving to Trotwood, and I must say I'm impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. They have a wide selection of good, and the Meijer brand of most food items are excellent for their price. The only complaint I have is that it feels like they are constantly restocking during busy hours, so it is difficult to navigate around the pallets of goods. Will probably continue shopping here as it is the nicest grocery store within 10 min of Trotwood. read more

Does not even deserve 1 star. Spoiled meat in the coolers, molded bread, isle are always full of stick skids. And the people doing the shopping for online orders are rude. Have their earbuds in and refuse to say excuse me, sorry. I have given Meijer's in Englewood many chances. They have lowered their standards considerably and have become the new Walmart. read more

Clean, well-organized, and it seems to be well-stocked (at least, for Meijer). It's close to I-70, on State Road 48, so it's a convenient location I'm not sure if the store is as old as the West Carrollton location but it seems better maintained. Groceries are on the south end of the store with dry goods to the north. Unfortunately, I didn't find what I wanted, but employees were friendly and helpful. I was surprised to see so many people working there, as well as so many customers around 9 p.m. The problem I always find with Meijer is that they want too much for their products, I guess, to support coupons. Sometimes (quite a bit for what I buy), their store brand products are more expensive than the national brands. I'd rather shop at Target, but Meijer does try to please. read more

I was turned away at Meijer Pharmacy Englewood Ohio by the blad male pharmacist for my Covid 19 booster. I had made appointments for my friend, my husband and myself to get J&J Boosters on 1-5, 1-6 and 1-7. They both got their boosters with no issue but I was refused by the pharmacist who seemed to have an alternative agenda. I don't know if they make more money off of the other boosters but someone willing to get the shot to protect themselves and others should not be turned away for any reason especially $$$$. I would like to be contacted to discuss this further to prevent anyone else from being refused the booster shot they choose and made appointments for because of the the pharmacist personal agenda. read more

Meijer has to be the worst grocery store ever. I do my weekly grocery shopping at the Meijer Englewood OH store every Friday morning at about 8AM. Every week there are sale items on my grocery list but the items are sold out. Today they had the buy 5 save $5 promotion. Went to buy the Cherry Coke and Planters Peanuts that were in the promotion but they were sold out. I have complained to the store manager but nothing ever changes. I finally have had it with Meijer and never intend to shop Meijer again. It is simply not worth my time and gas money to shop Meijer. There is a Kroger store nearer to me than Meijer and that is where I will do my grocery shopping from now on. Meijer, you just lost a long time customer. read more

Make sure you don't need to use the restroom while you're there. Bad enough experience before their massive expensive remodeling. Now, it's been stall doors held shut with shipping tape, or urinals with out of order signs, toilet paper dispenser in back restroom with door ripped off, and finally in the back restroom, a sink faucet that swivels from one side to the other because it has never been tightened down since the remodeling several years back. Came in looking for a certain product. Didn't see it went to check with customer service. They called someone from the department. I waited about 5 minutes with the employee on hold while they were "supposably" looking. I mentioned i would walk back and meet the other employee so i wouldn't hold the customer service line up. He informed the employee i was going to do so. I walked back and stood waiting for about 10 minutes to see no employee in the department at all so i left and took my business elsewhere. read more
