The meat department has really gone downhill. The selection is terrible ,today I spent $40 on lamb shanks that were rancid when I got home from now on I'm only buying meat from the butcher shop down the street. read more

Walmart has more check outs open than this store does. So why pay higher prices, if you get such awful service???? Then they put very young girls at the self check out, who is so busy chatting it up with there friends visiting them at work. Plus there friends think it is fun to stand there and make rude comments, talk about sexual things about the customers in the self check out!! With the employee not helping when lights are lighting up. They are not watching or helping any one. Then when they finally notice every light lit and every single check out in trouble, employee runs to the bathroom crying, rather than getting help, at the service desk. And this place was so busy, every one standing around getting mad. One check out open with a cashier, and the self check out deserted by the crying employee and her friends!! With a waiting line going out past the door!! And this was a mother's day so every one was in a hurry, and the place was packed. Other employees seen what was going on, and I even seen one lady stop other employees to try and get some help but they just said it was not there area!! no help from them what so ever!! read more

This is my favorite place in Danville to get groceries. The store is always clean and the check out people are always friendly read more

Cleanest place to shop in town. I would shop here and pay more before shipping at the alternative.

Deli could use some work. Sometimes they are out of things. Store is clean. Staff is friendly

High prices, even items on sale! Meijer is way too high on everything! Thank goodness we have other stores.

Great place to shop. It's very clean and the people who work there are friendly and polite. Thank you!

this is my number one store I shop at. I always safe money on my perchases and the have great sales. love ya Meijer's.

Store review: I am perplexed how this store is not listed on Yelp. Every single time I come here, I try to check in and it is no where to be found. I can honestly say before moving to Central Illinois, I could count on my 2 hands how many times I have visited this store. I typically prefer target with the set mark down schedule, but Meijer if you come here often is more than a grocery store. You can walk away with some crazy deals on everything from furniture to electronics. At this location I have purchased multiple red tag clearance items including 2 dyson vacuum cleaners at more than 50% off, kids toys at 90% off, electronic headsets for my xbox as low as 6 dollars each, and much more. My receipt shows my addiction to Meijer as my to date savings is in the 3000 range now. When people ask me what is the secret, there is none, you just have to come by a few times a week. Is it worth it, that is up to you to decide. Pros: never busy at lunch time when I am in town, large parking lot, cheap gas Cons: You have to come frequently to hit the jackpot as the markdowns are sporadic and could happen whenever Hidden deals: Sign up for mperks which has coupons you can clip before you come in. These include coupons for BOGO, money off gas, etc. These deals coupled with extra clearance will put you over the top. Also the pharmacy provides free lipitor, certain antibiotics, and pre-natal vitamins read more

Meijer - Discount galore! - Grocery Near Me - Danville, Illinois

Dropped in for a few items that I forgot to grab for my weekend trip. The store is huge but well organized and clearly labeled. The staff is friendly and very helpful. This is definitely a one stop shop! They have groceries, home goods and decor, a pharmacy and even clothing. Prices are pretty decent as well. Nice place to go for all your shopping needs. read more

Tried to return some birthday supplies today that I over purchased. I didn't know there was a 90-day limit on returns and I missed it by 13 days. The items are non-seasonal, and still in stock so they could have easily been re-shelved and sold. They refused to make an exception to policy and even issue store credit. I understand the need for policies (I also run a business) but I also understand that sometimes exceptions should be made in the spirit of customer service. They have now lost part if not all of my business over a $19 return. read more

Meijer in Danville Ill has a problem at the checkout with the scale you set your items on. It will say place item in bagging area when you already have then when you move it and try to set it back down it says item removed wait for assistance and it happens over and over. I called and someone with the last name Thomas says ok and hangs up. What a jerk read more

I love Meijer. I had been comfortable shopping at the Danville Meijer until yesterday. The staff all wore masks, worked hard at social distancing. The clientele, however, not so much. Large groups of people roamed the store with no masks, practicing no social distancing. The staff at the door said nothing, ignoring these facts. Will not return during the pandemic. read more

I needed help finding coconut milk and I asked Natalie where it was , she stopped what she was doing and helped me find it. She also googled it to be sure it was exactly what I was looking for! She saw me later and showed me what else she found on google about it, which answered all my questions!! Very nice lady! Definitely makes you want to shop here again! read more
