I've come here for years and always found this store to be one of the best County Markets, the store is always clean and the shelves are usually decently stocked. The only complaint I have is that management could be better. I came in the other day and i was having trouble finding pedialyte and when I went to ask the presumed manager Tija she was too busy gabbing to the cashier to listen to me. I eventually got tired of waiting and went to front desk to ask for help. I think management could learn a thing or two about how to treat their customers!!!​ read more

Gave one star because I had too. Terrible experience tonight 2/4/21 10pm. Tilton County Market. Two cashiers couldn't figure out how to fix an error for the customer in front of me. The cashier called to open another register. While my order sat on the belt, I waited 15 minutes while 6 customers checked out at the newly opened register. I was getting very aggitated because the error was not getting fixed and it was only for 81 cents. I offered to pay the 81 cents when that customer (who appeared to either be an employee or acquaintance) told me to calm down. Then the cashier told me to calm down. I told him I was tired of waiting 15 minutes over an 81 cents problem. Then the customer called me names and the cashier said something else and I told him to keep my order (which was more than $150+) and I walked out all the while being called names. None of the cashiers offered to move my order to the other lane and check me out. They could learn something from Aldi's who provide excellent customer service. County Market Tilton has been my store since they opened because I live in Tilton. Tonight was the last straw. My money spends just as easily in Danville, Westville or Georgetown without condescending treatment. read more

For the last year I have moved my shopping from county market to aldis. Prices nit being marked on half the produce section, to only puti g items that are in danger of going bad on sale. So any sales items doesnt have as long in your shelf. Today I went to purchase my cigs! They were out four days last week and has them yesterday and now they are out again! I don't have a choice but to rate one star in order to be able to even write a review but my review is 0 stars!!!! I was in this store on January 23, 2020 at approximately 5:35/5:45 pm, I purchased 30 chicken tenders and 6 potato wedges totaling the amount of $35.78 from the deli hot food area (which I called ahead to place the order). The young man Blake informed me that I needed to pay for my items at the deli but allowed the lady before me to take her order and continue on through the store. Of course I pointed this out to him and his reply was that he assumed she had more shopping to do. I was a little taken aback by his response but due to the fact that my disabled brother will only eat County Market chicken tenders I had no choice but to buy them. I left out of the store and got to my car but remembered that I forgot to get my husband's soda so I had to go back in the store to get it. I got the soda and took it to the register and gave the young lady my max card then paid for my soda only to have Will the manager to approach me and accuse me of being barred from the store for shoplifting. Then escorted behind me out the door. Talk about being embarrassed, humiliated and disrespected in front of a store packed full of people !!!! Emily on lane 6 told Cami in customer service along with everyone else in her lane, Cami told another girl in customer service, then they told Will the nightshift manager. I placed my soda in me car and went back in the store to get the corporate telephone number. Then they all (but the ring leader Emily of course, the one that started the whole thing) apologized because they got me confused with someone else!!!! Talk about being PISSED!!!! You embarrass me in front of everyone, humiliated me in front of everyone, make false and slanderous accusations about me, damage my character and reputation and all you can say is SORRY....REALLY???
