I want to start by saying I previously had a terrible experience with Kroner vet. They saved my…read moredogs life with surgery, however then the price was several hundred dollars more than initially quoted and it was pay or don't get your dog back and keep getting charged a boarding fee everyday situation. The vet was still male. I was hesitant to take my grandma's cat to Kroner however it was a dire situation and I couldn't get her in to see anyone else. I'm so thankful I couldn't. For the first time ever at any vet, I didn't feel like the bottom line was money. We had a very thorough, honest discussion about our options and possibilities and costs. She actually helped me formulate a plan that didn't entail me dropping 400$ on blood work and understand the possible issues the cat may be having. Before a few weeks ago, I wouldn't have recommended this vet for anything. Today, I don't think I want to take any of my pets to anyone else. To all the wonderful ladies at Kroner, thank you so much for understanding that these animals are our family and treating them as such.

Mind you, Kroner is our vet to two other dogs and a cat. They told us they couldn't see us until Tuesday, which was almost a week away, we needed to take him to another clinic for emergency needs. Again, we didn't know it was broken. We called another vet (Athens Veterinarian Clinic) at 4:58, they close at 5:00. The doctor was willing to stay to see him and take x-rays. The x-ray confirmed it was broken and we knew then we definitely had to travel over an hour away to cast our puppies leg. Our hearts were broken that Kroner's would not see an animal in an emergency sitsuation. Kroner's lost a customer of at least 5 years.

I had to cancel a grooming appointment due to an emergency with my dog, and was charged for cancellation fee. I tried to schedule my dogs to be groomed for months to over a year, and spoke with employees who took my name and phone number several times, but literally just never got a call back. They stated they were short on groomers and scheduling was super far out. I didn't appreciate the lack of communication or reaching out. I would say this place is NOT reliable at all. It's very difficult to schedule grooming. I was also supposed to be placed on a wait list for my new younger dogs to be groomed, but literally did not ever hear back about that. It is not possible to schedule grooming here if you don't already have an account. When I was finally able to schedule for my dog who has cancer, they did not notify me of any emergency cancellation fee that would need paid, so there were unexpected fees on top of the overpriced grooming... After this, I decided to stop going there permanently. I even have a gift card for a large sum of money to go there, but I refuse to use it because of how bad the service it and how damaging this situation has been trying to get my dogs groomed there. It is really just a small town pet grooming company that is completely incompetent, unreliable, over-priced, and doesn't work with their customers or communicate properly. I would NOT recommend. Lastly, for context I also wanted to mention that my elderly dog that I always brought there died over the summer and I was not able to get him groomed there before his death. With that hardship, it was quite a sad time and several months later we learned that our other elderly had terminal cancer. So, the dog I wanted to have groomed there currently was just diagnosed with a deadly form of cancer. I wanted to have her groomed since she is in the final stages of her life and we don't have much time left with her... I figured it would help her to feel more comfortable and also make us want to love on her even more if she was soft, shiny, and freshly cleaned. That's why this was even more disappointing and why I don't feel I can count on this company to take care of its community members.
