Called, set up an appointment and the service repairman came . His name was Dean. He called before he was to arrive, he knew exactly how to fix the issue. He gave me a hint on removing the filter. Told me to make rabbit ears on the filter with duck tape. That way I can pull the filter out. I told him I was disappointed the installers did not show me how to remove the filter. After all, I really was not thrilled that I had to have a service call. The best part of this review is that there wasn't any charge, he gave me a pound of hummingbird coffee , a fabulous tip on removing the filter and we shook hands. Very thankful for the rabbit ear tip, everyone should learn this! Very pleased with Hummingbird, the service repairman Dean and my pound of coffee. But the best part... no charge. My neighbor who retired out of the industry and was calling the owner, WHO HE KNOWS, has been calling for me all summer. He never received a call back. The person who answers the phone said they've been swamped with work. So, I guess they are too busy even to return calls, or give information, let alone do estimates, or perform new work. I have no idea the quality of work they do, but I not holding my breath to hear from them. I guess I have to make other plans. I am very disappointed; my neighbor said they are very good.
