Yeah !! went here with friends today after a weekend in Saskatchewan and it was fantastic. My friend's mother comes here alot and so we went too. Wow, a great surprise since I am always amazed that the best food can be hidden in simple strip malls but hey! this is Canada and the best is often modest and understated here. We all chose one thing and then shared it all as a group and so yummy. The spring rolls were lovely and had a wonderful soft wrap that I hadn't seen before, even in New York or other large cities. Good service, and for dessert (so to speak) I had a cup of their coffee which was so good - strong drip coffee with sweetened condensed milk at the bottom. You had to stir it up to see it but, gosh. A little bit of heaven for sure. read more

Efficient service in a traditional Chinese Restraunt with lots of dishes to choose from. We chose the Wonton soup for two made with chicken wontons & broccoli. It was delicious & a large serving. The egg rolls were good. Disappointed that they did not have hot mustard sauce. The Honey Pork dish was not acceptable. The pork was very fatty. More breading & fat than pork. The sauce was flavorful but I could not ingest all that fat. Some people may find that favorable. Not me or my husband. Good atmosphere. If we are ever back this way , I would defiantly give it another try. read more

Previous regular, but never again. Tonight's order was a major health hazard. Not only were the chicken balls partially raw, but the dough inside touching the chicken was completely uncooked and wet. To add to the poor quality, the shrimp were so saturated in grease they were like sponges; you could squeeze oil out of them, and it soaked through the entire bag. The vegetables while they looked good at first are mushy soggy and over cooked. When I called to report $57 of inedible, unsafe food, I was offered a measly $10 credit. Management clearly doesn't take food safety or customer loyalty seriously. Currently disputing the charge and reporting to SHA. For evidence please look at the attached photos of grease soaked bags, napkins trying to salvage the food, and the puddle in the chicken balls - that isn't moisture, its oil. read more

This restaurant had a nice ambience. It was clean and pleasant. I ordered take out and the waitress was very helpful. Unfortunately the food was bland. The fried rice was lackluster and the Wor Wonton Soup while having a flavorful broth had wontons with zero flavor. The worst dish was the BBQ pork. The pork did have a nice glaze but it was 50% fat. So disappointing. Lastly, adding insult to injury they failed to include the two egg rolls that were ordered. Not a good experience overall. read more

Everything is awesome! What can I say? The noodles are the best I've ever had. The food is so good. Whenever I've been there it's never busy and I don't understand why. read more

Travelling through Regina and had the craving for some Chinese. This spot didn't have too many reviews but all the ones that were up were overwhelmingly positive. Came here on a weeknight and it was already starting to get packed. Another good sign was the menu had Chinese translations. They have the standard Western fare along with some off-menu choices I inquired about. Ended up ordering the Chicken with Ginger and Salt and Pepper Shrimp and they both did not disappoint. Only thing that felt out of place was that a side of white rice did not come standard with either dish and you had to ask for it separately. Good service, sizable portion to leave you full, and food was decent. read more

I would give this a 4-star if im doing a review considering where this restaurant is. Having tried out authentic Chinese cuisine, i can say this is a good place to eat, the fact that Regina is a small town, they're doing a great job of providing authenticity to their customers. We only ordered Yang zhou fried rice, fried seafood medley, beef hot pot and spring rolls. I have to say skip the seafood and the spring rolls. Get the beef, lots of flavour and very tender. read more

This was our first time trying Mei Wei Bistro. Did takeout order earlier this month for our group and we were all very impressed with the quality and taste of every dish. This is a charming little restaurant in southern Regina. They have a really large and varied menu. They also make a nice variety of baked goods. This is definitely one of my favourite go-to restaurants and a place I recommend to friends and family alike. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. read more

This restaurant is great but you must know how to order. 1st ignore all of the set menus and go directly for the authentic Chinese dishes. 2nd order their meat plate and definitely get the crispy skin pork. Trust me. 3rd order the beef hot pot. It is fork tender braised beef done oh so well. 4th never eat another chicken ball in your life again. This restaurant cares about repeat business and it shows that they are serious about their food. Enjoy! read more

Reading the reviews here on Yelp, I knew I had to visit these folks. Boy, am I glad I did. Great, friendly service and the dish I chose, the Spice Roast Pork Belly was awesome. Absolutely, the best pork belly I've had. The plate served to me was easily enough for two people to share but it was so good, I almost ate the whole plate myself. Can't wait to my next trip to Regina. I hear the Beef Hot Pot is amazing! read more

Truly inconsistent menu. Some items good and some items awful. Never order lemon chicken (worse than eating cardboard) or Vietnamese spring rolls. Generous portions (combo meals for one are good prairie cantonese). Owner unenthusiastic and totally worn out. read more

I'm new to town. A co-worker suggested this place. Most amazing Chinese food ever!! Steamed vegetables were crisp and the sweet-n-sour pork was to die for!! Everything was made fresh and wasn't sitting there under a heat lamp for hours. So delicious. This will be the only place I eat Chinese food!!! Wait staff were friendly and the establishment was clean. Portions were huge. Had lots of leftovers. read more

Eating on the road is a crap shoot. So most of the times you eat at the same chain get the same meal over and over again. Sometimes you find a hidden gem this is one of them. A little chines place across the street from the hotel. Damn good. Tonight's menu is fried pork back BBQ ribs and BBQ duck with rice yum. read more

This is probably the first Chinese restaurant I've tried in Regina so far, the place is not big but it's cozy. Food is great.

Went here at exactly 11:00 am for my 45 mins lunch break, spend my time waiting as food served at 11:37

They have the best Pho noodle soup in Regina. Price is reasonable, and staff was very friendly. They have very good pastries as well.

Excellent service, ordered from here based on prior yelpers guidance, delivered to hotel on time and steaming hot! Ordered just the basics, chicken and veggies, beef chop suey (amazing,) chicken lo mein (amazing) and s&s chicken with rice, egg rolls. I would have liked to try more creative dishes but my companions a bit boring. I gave a 5 stars because what we ordered, although simple food, was just excellent all around, with great portions and fair prices. Highly recommend this spot based on my one experience. read more

Our favourite Asian restaurant in the south end of Regina. My favourite dishes are: Chinese hot & sour soup, salted fish fried rice, mapu tofu, beef chow funn noodles, and salt & pepper seafood. Their cocktail coconut buns are also amazing but it is often sold out - You will need to pre-order this pastry ahead of time. read more
