The small chunks of steak was pretty tender. The dressing was tasty and properly seasoned. My only minor wish? The salad lettuce was made up of large, whole leaves and that made it hard to eat, especially on a plate and not in a large bowl. The Flammekuchen looked great and everyone loved theirs. The coworker sitting next to me had ordered the traditional one and said it was exactly what it should have been. I'll keep this review simple because my visit only affording me the chance to see their outdoor area. And while it was great, the menu was the most captivating part of the whole experience. Of the dozen-or-so people we had in our group, we unanimously decided literally everything on the menu was worth a try. My only complain was that the beer selection could use some expansion. But, the overall check-time, friendly service and clean and relaxed atmosphere more than made up for it. Idyll was a fantastic choice.
