This place is so cute and cozy - an old pharmacy converted to a cafe. I don't know about the decorations the rest of the year, but the window Christmas decorations and holiday service dishes were charming. Our group had two teas (Jasmine and Fruit Tea) as well as a few lattes. Everyone really enjoyed their drinks. We also ordered a cherry cheesecake and an apple strudel. Loved the apple sweet - the cheesecake was not my personal favorite but the locals I was with loved it. I think our total bill was 12-13 euros (reasonable). I love this Kaffeehaus! It is so homey and comfortable inside, the coffee is very good, and it has such beautiful window displays. The owner is a cool Scottish man who speaks English (which is great since my German is far from fluent), and the other people who work there are really nice too. read more

Such a lovely cafe with friendly, warm hosts. The owner, a Scottish expat who had lived in the US for many years, lingered with us and was happy to ensure our food was exactly to our liking. We felt unhurried and welcome for as long as we cared to linger at this perfect spot along the pedestrian walkways of the alderstadt.
