But, it's good food, beer, and wine and they have some wild meats such as venison, making me it a little unique. I got the steak salad and it was huge. It was a large plate piled 6 inches high with lettuce, a thin slice of tomato and a mushroom with the vinegar and oil dressing on the side. The small chunks of steak was pretty tender. The dressing was tasty and properly seasoned. My only minor wish? The salad lettuce was made up of large, whole leaves and that made it hard to eat, especially on a plate and not in a large bowl. The Flammekuchen looked great and everyone loved theirs. The coworker sitting next to me had ordered the traditional one and said it was exactly what it should have been. We all talked about going back and ordering a few specialty Flammekuchen including dessert ones and sharing. Really lovely location and establishment, too.
