When my beloved mother passed away, I contacted Habings for her prayer cards and to make arrangements for her to be buried in a family plot. I cannot speak highly enough of their team as they are professional & compassionate. I realize that's a bit odd, but I wanted her friends in both areas to be able to say goodbye. Struve and Laporte worked with the Sunnyvale Funeral director and we scheduled both viewings on consecutive days. The logistics were a bit challenging, but they really came thru for us. The chapel was beautiful and very comforting. They chose the perfect music and had the chapel set up in a way to be Covid conscious. I am very grateful to them for all of their help. Bob Struve did a great job for us and made a difficult time much more manageable. I would recommend Struve and Laporte to anyone. I was very impressed.

I didn't have an appointment or call ahead and instead, walked right in when I unexpectedly needed a mortuary service. Bill met us at the door and after I explained the situation he welcomed us into his office and said he needed to make a quick call so he could accommodate us as a walk in. Moments later he joined us in his office and walked us through our options very calmly and showed deep empathy all the way through. Bill was knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and personable. The pricing was reasonable and at no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of financially due to the vulnerable circumstances I found myself in. The death certificate and remains were ready within 3 business days which was greatly appreciated. This is the best mortuary my husband and I have both experienced and we made sure to express such to Bill as well. Thank you so much, Bill and Alta Vista you were extremely helpful and kind during a tough time.

Paul & Dennis were amazing. They were just amazing and sympathetic, and they both communicated both in a professional way and also a human way. It's hard losing any loved one but because our son was more at the beginning of his life there weren't a lot of policies/pricing set for babies. But they worked with us every step of the way and it was just the best experience we could have had at an extremely difficult time. Their kindness really had an impact on our experience and I cannot be more thankful to them. Sometimes in business what makes the difference is people actually having that awareness in what they are doing and how they do things rather than just trying to make a living. And it was apparent that both Paul & Dennis understood their profession and the care that goes hand and hand with it.
