But they are not-pushy or aggressive about purchasing product or getting additional services. This is what drove me from my last stylist so I am pretty happy with their low key environment. Every hair cut comes with the option of a free scalp massage, arm & hand massage, and mini facial. They also offer complimentary touch ups to make up.

There's no heavy sales pitch on products either, you stylist wants to inform you on what she used for you that day, in case you live the look and want to duplicate it! If you choose to get it styled, it's awesome because they show you how and when to use the product, and it is all in terms you can understand!!! I love my stylist, Shawn; she is beautiful, strong and I've never walked out of that salon disappointed with her work (until 2 Thurs. ago). In fact, my profile pic was taken shortly after she cut, dyed, & styled my hair yrs ago. However, I've become increasingly annoyed with the salon itself, roughly 2 weeks ago I wanted to try something new & let Shawn do whatever she wanted to my hair. I am not unhappy with her work ( I don't like my color or cut but it's not her fault- I was trying something out of my comfort zone & it's just not me). What I was angry with was the cost, my normal expense is $150.00 plus I always tip her $50.00. But this time it cost me $250.00 !!! And I honestly felt like I had just walked out of Best Cuts and that I could've done exactly what I paid for myself for way cheaper. The cost of each service is not posted anywhere in the salon nor on their website- annoying!!! I also find some of their workers to be rude, one of them being the owner who is abrupt & uninviting on the phone but a completely different person face to face. I'm not sure what that's all about but I hate calling to schedule an appointment! Then there's another younger stylist (we'll call her Jersey Shore) who washed out my hair while Shawn worked on another client. No "hello", no smile, no nothing- just complete silence- she was definitely angry about something or at someone but when I'm paying these prices I expect better customer service. I would've been happy with a simple 'Hi", honestly. Anyways, I'm not saying don't go here- there's a reason why I keep coming back I just wish there was a way to get my hair done by Shawn outside of the salon. Also, I've had Jessica do my hair as well & was equally happy with her work as well.

They offer top-tier services and have well-trained hairdressers. I usually just ask for a trim and an eyebrow wax and they always do a fantastic job. I've also gotten my hair colored before by Nicole and she did an amazing job, I just think looking back on it that the color wasn't for me. But she's great for blondes. Everyone there is always super friendly and seem genuinely interested in getting to know me. I usually have a different person each time and they all have been super kind. The inside is also super nice and and very clean which is always important. I highly recommend this salon if you care a lot about quality when it comes to your hair.

I didn't get the style I wanted and ended up with botched blunt layers and badly bleached sections of my hair that didn't blend at all. The colors they had were very limited and lasted about 2 showers before my hair had no color and looked super crappy. Also the stylist left me sitting there while she did two other clients hair right in front of me. I wanted to complain there but I was tired and hungry and felt like I was about to cry so I just payed and left. Now I dye my weird blond parts at home and I curl my hair every morning because it looks terrible straight. Safe to say I will never be returning to this salon. Note: I brought a picture of what I wanted in color and style and printed it out to make it clear, and the stylist said with full confidence she could easily do it, so my hair was not the problem.

We are both long time clients of the salon and spa. I no longer get my hair styled there as my stylist opened her own salon, but will occasionally visit for spa pampering or product purchases. I would like to start my review by saying my Signature Spa Pedicure experience with Meagan was excellent. The service lasted 60 minutes as described and my feet looked and felt great! to her. However, my friend a long time and regular hair and spa client had a different experience. While she was happy with her pedicure, her service was approximately half the time. While finishing up her technician even made a point to explain to my friend that my technician was new therefore slower. Feeling confused and giving my friend's technician the benefit of the doubt we decided to inquire whether my friend was mistakenly booked for an Express Pedicure which is described as a 30 minute service. The main difference between the two is the length of time and a minor difference is you elect a scrub OR lotion. Both reception and the salon manager confirmed my friend received a Signature Spa Pedicure because she had all the listed services and also reiterated that my technician was new, therefore still learning and slower. I equate this to signing up for a 60 minute massage and it only lasting 30 minutes then told because it was full body it was in fact a 60 minute massage even though it lasted 30 minutes. This is upsetting for my friend essentially paid an extra $18 for one extra application and was left sitting half the time while I continued to get pampered. Also when reception checked out us out before we even approached the desk or asking how we'd like to pay. She debited both our credits on file even though my friend intended to treat for my birthday. While I planned on paying for my own service, but they shouldn't assume. Overall I would advise anyone seeking a pedicure to save yourself $18 and opt for an Express Pedicure and apply lotion yourself at the end. To Simply Swank treat your new stylists/trainees AND long time regular customers better.
