Rich Rosa was fantastic. If you're an engineer type like me, he'll give you a spreadsheet market analysis, if you are are more mood and feel, he will speak to that. 5) Great negotiator 6) Super punctual and responsive, we pulled off a 30-day closing window which wouldn't have been possible w/o Rich's professionalism I could go on. So glad we found him.

He was very thorough when looking at houses with us and pointed out things to look out for that we would have otherwise missed. He worked diligently on our behalf from the time we hired him as our agent through closing. In that time we saw quite a few houses and made several offers, but not once did we ever feel pressured by Rich - he very much works for his clients and is not at all pushy, which we sincerely appreciated! I would recommend Rich to anyone looking to buy a home in Greater Boston!

A word of caution to anyone considering using the Masiello Realty Group. I hired them to represent…read moreme in the sale of a property in Cathance Township Maine. They were extremely friendly and seemed professional. I talked to my agent openly about what I needed to get out of my property and we had numerous conversations about what costs would come out at closing. Several of these conversations were during the time of negotiations with a potential buyer. I even requested a copy of the closing documents ahead of time so that I could review them and be prepared. They were sent to me. All seemed fine and exactly how my agent and I had discussed. At closing the documents presented to me to sign were NOT the same as the ones they sent me to preview! There was an additional 2%charge to me that was never discussed or even mentioned. Needless to say I was not happy! The charge was listed as a possibility in the contract between me and the realty company but was never mentioned anytime during our conversations, nor was it listed on closing documents that were sent to me before closing, it only showed up during our scheduled closing meeting. It was a 2% charge on top of their 8% commission so for me that was a significant amount which caused me to fall short of what I needed to get out of the property. So I caution anyone considering using them. If you think they are working for you, they are NOT! My experience with this realtor ended on a very sour note, Underhanded and Unprofessional! I would never recommend them to anyone.

We had the good fortune to have the phone answered by Linda Hitchcock. No, we weren't in town, or…read moreeven in the area. As a matter of fact, we were not even in New Hampshire but inquiring about a listed property from 2700 miles away. Some people could just take our call with a grain of salt or ignore it as "sure, out west" but not Linda. From the first moment we spoke to her she gave us professional courtesy, answered our questions, and offered her research. We really liked this particular house and flew out to New England the next day to take a look. Once again, Linda was professional and prompt, arranging the showing and working with us as a trusted advisor when we wrote the offer the same afternoon. By 6pm she called us and said the sellers had accepted - an absolute successful conclusion thanks to her guidance and knowledge of the local market. After we flew back she continued to shepherd the process on our behalf, was present for inspections, coordinated with title, provided timely email communications, and took us to the finish line. Sure some agents can help you buy a house, but Linda Hitchcock went the extra mile and made it happen like a seasoned real estate athlete. We highly recommend her services and are extremely satisfied with our experience with her, especially as out of state buyers who needed someone local as our proxy. This is the kind of experience where people like her prove their value to both customers and the company she works for. Five stars!

Chris showed me a range of properties, gave insight about different areas, all of which I now know to be true a few years later. I ultimately ended up buying a fixer-upper, not always a realtor's favorite choice, but he was incredibly enthusiastic about it. His skills at evaluating the place were better than the official inspection! He even urged me to go for an extra parking space in my contract so that I could get a roommate which has been such a life-saver considering there is no overnight parking on the streets. His kindness in closing without my presence was the cherry on top! I'll definitely be using him to sell my place, now worth tremendously more, and buy my next one.

Chris was all this and more. He relentlessly scoured the MLS listings, used his local knowledge to help us appraise the true value of the wacky Brookline market, and since we were planning to renovate his architectural background was priceless in helping us use appropriate vision for all the properties. Our initial property in Brookline ended up having the title fall through once our real estate lawyer did his searching and Chris remained a fierce advocate yet gentleman on our behalf and we got out without any losses and unscathed. He stayed positive but realistic through our search and even cautioned us when we were close to going above our means on a few properties. We ended up with a perfect property for us. Chris is a fabulous agent but an even better person. We couldn't imagine having had a better agent on our side. We would recommend him in a heartbeat.

My husband Peter and I had occasion to use Link Moser and New Hampshire Fine Homes last September…read moreduring our seach for a vacation home in New Hampshire. Link "hit the ground running", liasing with a number of different agents, preparing a viewing schedule and accompanying us to each of the showings over five days. His sound advice and knowledge was invaluable and after only a few short days of knowing us, he arranged for us to see a property that was not originally on our list but turned out to be exactly what we were looking for! He put in our successful offer and after we returned to Bermuda, he assisted with the inspection on our behalf, sending us photographs and reporting on the progress of the sale. On October 31, 2011 he attended the sale closing with us when we became owners of our lovely home away from home! We are confident that without Link's help and his insight into what we were looking for, we would have spent a great deal of time and effort in our search and would not have had the same successful result. Selling a home long distance is hard enough. But this company made it even harder. One of the few…read morejobs these people have is dealing with money in escrow so you'd think they would kind of know a thing or two about it. Not Great East Title! After our house went under contract, the agent in charge of our account dropped the proverbial ball. Closing day, we were neither informed of how it went (we are out of state), nor faxed a copy of the closing doc's. But the biggest problem was that the only one paid at closing for the sale of our home was our inept real estate agent. THEY FORGOT TO PAY OFF OUR BANK MORTGAGE as well as pay us. Hello? Their entire job is to disperse the funds of a home sale to the rightful parties. We waited patiently all weekend (never close on a friday!) and heard nothing and got nothing. Finally called the manager on Monday and were told our routing number was wrong and that's why we didn't get our check. Is that why the bank didn't get theirs? Is that why we didn't get our copies of the closing doc's? "We'll have to check into that" is all I heard. Turns out there was nothing wrong with our routing numbers (our money was to be wired) and their big excuse was a "personell problem'. So while their personell problem was dealt with, we waited. We were told we'd recieve a reimbursment for the wire fees as well as some to cover the mortgage interest ratest that were ticking away. We waited about 3 more days to give it time to get here in the mail. Called the mortgage bank. Nothing. Checked to see if our personal bank had recieved our payment. Nothing. UG. Called Great East Title. AGAIN. Spoke with the same manager. Again. She did her little routine of "checking on that". Uh oh. Turns out NOTHING was done about it. Again. Ooops. Sorry. Finally the closing doc's and our check for the trouble arrived the next day by UPS overnight and the wired transfers were completed. This company is completely screwed up. They sound all nice and professional when you first talk to them. But then as soon as you hire them they fall asleep. I recommend steering clear of this very poorly run company.
