I was damn near in tears texting her that I wanted to give up trying because I felt like I was not adequate enough for him. I was so distraught over him not using the restroom enough at 2 days old and him losing weight; I just knew something was wrong. She quickly referred me to Kari. I emailed and texted Kari desperate to get any sort of help and she went above and beyond! She texted me and e-mailed me back immediately. She was so kind and caring even through text and e-mail. She said she could come that same day and sure enough, she did. As soon as she arrived to my house she was instantly helpful. I was a mess, postpartum and just so emotional about my baby not using the restroom enough and him looking thin. Sure enough, Kari evaluated him, weighed him, and then asked me key questions. I could tell instantly she had a genuine passion for this and cared! She calmed me down and reassured me that we would figure things out and get to the bottom of it. After having a session with her, she discovered that my baby was not latching correctly and that my milk supply had still had not fully come in. So it made sense as to why he was fussy and not using the restroom enough- he was not getting enough. She reassured me again that we would work on this together and that I would be able to breastfeed my baby. She gave me so much information and even after she left, she would text me to check on baby and I. I even sent her pictures asking for her opinion and advice on certain things. Kari texted me right away and was very detailed. My milk supply did come in and thanks to her my now 1 month old baby is eating sooooo good and his pediatrician was impressed with how the breastfeeding is going. He has since, gained his healthy weight that the pediatrician wanted to see and is less fussy. I do not know what I would have done without Kari. She is truly a gem! I HIGHLY recommend her and wish more people would utilize her, that way they will not give up on breastfeeding their babies. I would have paid any price at that vulnerable point, so let me mention that Kari has very good prices! It is rare to find someone so knowledgeable, caring, attentive, and charges very good prices. Stacy is Amazing! I first seeked her help to confirm my suspension of baby girl having a lip tie…read more She's was able to do home visits, which is so convenient for me as I'm home alone most days and taking her outside can be troublesome. She was very accommodating with scheduling too! After evaluation, she diagnosed my baby girl with lip tie and possibly a tounge tie. She showed me some exercises I can do daily to help with her oral functions and body tension. Shes suggested some dentists that shes seen procedure success in. She advised that its up to me if I want to do the lip tie procedure, and that oral exercises will need to be done after procedure so getting her use to exercises is important. And sometimes the exercises can significantly improve without needing the procedure. Shes also suggested nipple types I can try to help her latch better. Overall, after 3 sessions, baby girl has minimal clicking, better latch and slightly stronger tounge. Im still on the fence with the procedure, i know sooner the better, but if she continues to improve, I may forgo the procedure. Let's hope her 4 month regression does not undo all our hard work. I will revisit Stacy when baby girl starts solids.

She wanted me to formula feed asap because I was having trouble with getting a good latch on one side and unable to get a latch at all on the other. I felt so defeated but I didn't want to give up on breast feeding my baby. At first, I went to another LC. It was such a horrible experience. She basically took one look at my baby, then told me she had a lip tie that needed to get released, and that I needed to see a chiropractor because her neck was tight. There was no hands-on working with me on my latch. She really didn't do anything but tell me to continue to use my nipple shield. I was so discouraged after our meeting. I almost believed that what she said was my only option, but my gut feeling told me that she was wrong and I should find another LC. That's when we reached out to Tami from Loving Touch Lactation. She was so kind and reassuring over the phone, answered all my questions and left me feeling confident in her experience to have her come over. It was honestly the best decision we ever made. Let me tell you, she is a miracle worker!!! From our first visit she did a weighted feed and to my amazement she showed me how to latch on BOTH sides properly - She did address that my baby had a minor lip tie, but it did NOT need to be surgically released. Tami then created a game plan for me to become successful in building my supply/feeding to ensure my baby gained weight. With her guidance, I was able to ditch the nipple shields and successfully breastfeed my baby enough to bring her back up to the 98th percentile. We even had Tami come back when my baby turned 6 months for her baby led weaning session! It makes me so emotional to think about how much she has helped me achieve through my breast feeding journey. I literally could not have done it without her and we are so grateful. BEST DECISION EVER!!!

She has incredible intuition and always knows exactly what to do. She has a close relationship with God, and the space around her vibrates at a high level of love. She creates a safe and sacred space. If you are concerned with having a birth away from a hospital, just know that Je'Nelle is a skilled medical professional with a background in nursing and has all the medical tech you and your baby might need with the exception of the epidural and C-section (obviously). I felt very confident that she would know when to send me to a hospital if the occasion called. Also, the birthing pool is underrated in how much it helps with pain management. It makes contractions totally doable! Home births are so awesome! You have your baby and can just go sleep in your bed afterwards. Highly recommend!!!
