Worst car rental company ever!! When I first got in the car and released the hand brake it rolled forward 3 foot and hit a concrete structure. Luckily only a minor paint damage. When I return the car I was told the company will assess if there was anything to pay or not. From a different source I was told that this type of damage would be around 300 Euro. So returning home to the US, I awaited the verdict. I got an almost $992 repair charged and it was not even for my car but a Porsche! I emailed, called several times over the next 4 weeks and the company barely responded. No refunds or further explanation were made about the exorbitant and wrong bill. Later the bill was corrected for my car for the same amount. It is notable that this company has been reviewed on tripadvisor that a number of customers were screwed with high bills over minor paint damage which they did not even cause. It is very concerning that this company issues wrong charges, wrong bills, parks cars in dangerous conditions and does not respond at all. Luckily I contacted konsument.at Verein fuer Konsumenten Information und Beratung and a very helpful Magister was writing a detailed legal letter to this company. Again the company did not respond initially, but with repeated effort they finally refunded 500 Euro after multiple interventions in almost a 4 months period. This company are simply con people. The prices are cheap but with their bandit style business operations the extract much more from customers who don't fight back. Avoid this company. After 30 years of using rental companies worldwide, this is the worst and gangster type ever! read more

Do not use this company!! The are operating as Buchbinder, Global and Megadrive at the Airport Vienna. I have rented a car with them for two days, had to take over the car in a very dark parking garage, the car had supposedly no damage. I drove the car to a parking lot in Styria and back without any interaction with a shoulder or parking lot or any place I could have caused damage. Upon return, they have invoiced me over 80 Euros for a "scratch in the wheel rim". This company is an example of the worst customer service, and for that reason I recommend you DO NOT USE their services. I will for sure NEVER EVER again spend a single Euro on them. At first everything was absolutely fine. We had an accident. They changed the car. The told us to forget it and enjoy our vacation. Afterward they charged us twice for the same accident. Ignoring what the witnesses saw. What happened within a few seconds they see as two different incidents. They wrote "from our point of view the description of the accident by the hotel owners clearly identify two distinct accident situations. Firstly the collision with the trees and secondly with the building. Consequently we maintain our write to charge you with two times the excess amount. (...) Our Austria rental was booked through AutoEurope and Kemwel, whom I previously believed to be reputable and MegaDrive may somehow be related to Enterprise, which is a great company. But their affiliate, Megadrive is unbelievably Sleazy. They will likely find something to pick on, no matter how insignificant, upon returning the car. Upon return, their inspector saw dust on the back seat and they told me that the car was dirty and there is a charge. I promptly cleaned it off with a rag and some water. He told me that they expected me to return the car clean!!! Hairline scratches, likely less than an inch, -- and almost completely invisable (I have no idea if it occurred during my rental) on the inside of the tire wheel rim. They informed me that they are writing up a damage report and that I'm responsible. Interesting: there were much worse and definitely visable scratches on the basic body of this older car. I prepaid for 12 days. I was late picking it up and was immediately subject to a hard sell because they didn't have the car I reserved. I had prepaid!!!! They should have help my car for the entire rental period if necessary. When I complained to Kemwel from Europe, Kemwel advised me that MegaDrive had agreed to reverse the "upsell" charge. When I returned the car, they dishonored Kemwell's representation and told me to write a letter to their customer service dept. I then refused to sign off on the condition diagram --for all the obvious reasons. They would not give me a copy of the condition diagram. Also, manager "Stephane" would not give me his last name for this report. If you go to Tripadvisor, you may find some dated but incredibly awful stories about this company. I can't believe that Enterprise, Kemwel and AutoEurope would put their reputation at risk by dealing with these people! read more

Avoid this company at all cost!! No problem with the reservation, initial customer service or the car itself. Everything went fine until the last minute when I dropped off the car. They suddenly found damage under the front bumper that they deemed new even though it was already recorded in their own database as existing damage. However, it was not marked on the check-out report so they could claim it was new. I talked to the manager and she was relentless. She said that they had to charge the entire deductible (excess) amount because of the damage. This was 1,016 euros! I have been driving for over 40 years without an accident or incident, and I cannot recall anything that would have damaged the car, so obviously I am disputing this charge. Even if I'm wrong and the car was damaged without me noticing it, the damage needs to be assessed for the company to charge anything. One cannot simply charge the maximum deductible for an underbody scratch. read more
