I was doing my laundry and watching the TV and she kept turning off the TV when I stepped away for a minute or two. The first time, I did not think much of it, even though I was only a few feet away in front of the nearby laundry machines when she turned it off, then the 2nd time when I used the restroom, she turned it off again as I was walking toward the same spot. Instead of asking me if i was done she turned it off in front of me as if to send a message that she does not want me to watch the CUSTOMER TV. I won't return, in fact I may open my own commercial laundromat.

It's been many years since I've rented, and this is where I would be at least once a week if I ever had to revert back to the "good old days". Estherville is where I grew up, and as part of my annual trip back to the Iowa Great Lakes, I stopped in to take care of some business. The Lavanderia Laundromat is located Downtown, although you kind of have to look for it. Once inside, I found the facilities to be modern, clean, well maintained, and safe. There are places to sit and even an available TV to pass the time while the clothes spin wet or dry. Then of course, there are the interesting people you meet along the way.

Loading up all our towels in the two massive washers (10.75 each) and 2 loads of clothes in the smaller machines (6.50 each), and then transitioned those into compatible dryers (at 3.50 and 2.75 respectively). Ultimately getting 4 loads of laundry done in less than an hour and paying about $50 was a hit to the wallet but worth my time. The machines are very nice and the lovely lady that works there was a delight to chat with while our laundry ran and see was cleaning. Certainly will come back when the larger loads are a necessity.
