Between enhancement fees, cancellation fees, and the rigid 30-day notice policy, members often pay far more than they expect. Guest passes are another issue -- they're so overpriced and structured in such an unwelcoming way that it discourages people from bringing in friends or family to try the gym. Management is another major concern. When members question fees or policies, instead of being met with professionalism, they're often met with defensiveness and confrontation. From what I saw, customer service was rarely about working toward fair solutions -- it was about enforcing rules no matter the situation. It's a shame, because the gym and its community really do deserve better. Until management changes how it handles both employees and members, I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Most importantly though, the gym is clean! Other members respect the guidelines of cleaning up after themselves, by putting back their weights where they belong and always wiping down stations. The not-so-good anecdote: I got a membership discount through my work, asked my questions before making the decision (including whether I could use Snap facilities in other towns - "yes" was the answer), and signed up with a monthly bank draft set up. Tried to go to another Snap and was told that my discounted membership is for the Benton location only. Called Snap (Benton) and spoke with same employee who remembered (and apologized for) inadvertently misinforming me. Transferred to manager/franchiser who refused to honor the agreed-to deal, and when I advocated to have the agreement honored, she told me she didn't think I was "a good fit" for the gym and would be more than happy to cancel my membership. I said i hadn't yet come to the same conclusion. I wonder if she will glare at me after reading this next time I'm on the Stairmaster, or if she will offer any apology or follow up or make right on the deal I inarguably made with her agent. Well, I guess if you're the only gym in town, you can afford to treat people this way.

This is a pretty small town, (Blanchard) there aren't too many places to choose from. There are two…read moreother gyms. The first, on Main Street. There is no real owner, just a landlord: lots of machines. The only other choice, is off the highway, has lots of heavy weight equipment, and a boot camp; but no cardio machines. I am a runner. So if I am going to have a gym membership (which I must, since I don't have a home gym), I need a gym with treadmills, and things to help me cross train. ANYWAY- this leaves Blanchard fitness. It is a gym that expanded into the used to be pizza place, next store. Perched right on the highway next to main. This is a two story gym ran and owned by a husband and wife. It is a three room gym, with one weight machine room, and a free weight room, and upstairs a cardio room. The first room, the entrance, contains the office and the weight machines. There aren't as many as a chain gym (ex. Planet fitness) but a variety to get the workout you want. There are arm, abs, leg, chest machines. Take a left you enter the free weight room. With every size dumbell and weights. There is a variety of different equipment to use with the free weights. Upstairs offers the cardio room, with four treadmills and two ellipticals. The cardio room leaves a little to be desired, as I wish it actually had more treadmills (very popular) and a couple bikes. The gym is pretty clean, and recently got a facelift. Fresh paint and some new machines. They also offer free boot camp and have special fb offers every month. The owner is really friendly and I'm not too picky as long as it has what I need. Bottom line is I come here and I will continue to do so, I would also recommend to anyone that is looking for a gym in the area. Not the nicest, but great for a small town!

The restroom is minimally clean and the shower is gross. The gym floor has used used machines. The down side the owner does everything via Facebook, messenger and email. That includes membership. They are out of key fobs so any new members will need to wait till they get news ones. The owner doesn't really post what's happening on social media. THey will put a note on the door when you arrive the gym. But am thankful for a gym just wish they would take more pride in the up keep especially for their members.
