He did not get any communication from the business stating this was not possible. By the close of business 4pm on that day they were still not delivered. Then I received a call at 5:10 stating they were outside my work "if you are still here". Needless to say I was not. I then had to make arrangements to pick up my own flowers. When I arrived to pick them up none of the flowers were blooming and they tried to give me just my flowers and forgot the chocolates. I had to remind them that they were ordered with chocolates. The long and short is this kind gesture turned into more work for us and not one flower to look at.

The store is quite large and we took some time to browse - I wasn't really looking for anything specific, but it's always nice to be able to see products in person. They had a good sale section. I loved the local recommendations sprinkled on chalkboards throughout the store - so helpful! Honestly I rarely use these, so trying to be kind, I told him, "NBD, I use my phone for that" .... But, then it stopped ticking 2 days later. When I returned to the store, I requested he place a new battery in & asked that he show me the package (so I could check the expiration date). He walked out from the back with just the expired battery he removed from my watch to show me. So, I said, "No, I want to see the package of the NEW battery you're putting in, so I know it's NOT EXPIRED." He returned with his supply (i.e., 2 batteries: both expired 2020). I asked him for my $15 back, and he REFUSED because he said I did not have my receipt. Then, to make matters worse! ... on my Google 1-STAR Review of LIPPA's he lied, saying he "could not find my name anywhere in his computer system" ~ trying to make it appear as if I had the wrong Jewelry Store (funny... He never did ask for my name today; he simply stated without my yellow receipt, he would not REFUND ME $15 for dishonestly placing an EXPIRED 2020 WATCH BATTERY in my wrist watch) A THIEF is a THIEF (thieves always lie; they have, or they get caught) and a LIE is a LIE: a Tiger doesn't change their stripes, no matter how big, or small their kill is. LIPPA's does NOT DESERVE Anyone's BUSINESS, or TRUST. ~ I suppose if I walked in with an expensive suit & tie to buy an engagement ring, he would have had the decency to behave himself better & not steal from someone 65 y.o. on a fixed income. I rented a moving truck from them that quite literally did not work; it required a jump start every single time, not to mention the water damage inside the truck as well. It certainly was not road safe, nor should anything of value ever have been kept inside it. Their practices were suspicious the entire time: starting the truck for us, dodging our texts and calls when we tried to figure out what was going on, and when we returned the truck and politely complained, the manager threw down his pen, told us to call some random guy that supposedly worked with U-Haul (he dodged us too), ushered us out the door as fast as possible, and said "Have a nice day" with absolute annoyance. Then had the gall to charge me double what I paid for a "mileage fee" -- mind you, they forced me to get the truck 15 miles from where I needed it and only gave me 50 miles before I would have to pay $20/MILE. This scam was not told to me until I was at the establishment, needing a truck. Though it was contractually binding, it is extremely unethical and you're better off doing your business far from here, especially if you need a truck for a week or two of storage like I did. I complained about them to the Better Business Bureau about renting us a faulty truck (for almost $300) and they, I kid you not, lied in both of their responses, trying to make us out to be irresponsible and rude customers. They will scam you out of $500 and treat you like the scum of the earth. I was just a 20-something trying to move apartments, and it turned into a month-long ordeal where I ended up with just a partial refund for the mileage fee that was a scam in the first place. The worst experience I have ever had and absolutely terrible, unethical people running the place.

My husband and brother on the other hand are avid gamers. The employee we were treated by was really friendly, gave us a tour, and told us about everything they have to offer. The place may look small from the front, but there are gaming rooms and such in the back. All of the equipment looks super nice and extremely well kept. They have everything from pc gaming (all of the steam options you can imagine) to various consoles, card games, and a really cool VR set up. Anyone can pay per hour to game (per 15 min for VR) or get day passes, host private parties, attend their Friday night lock ins and special events.... apparently if you are really good and interested in joining a competitive gaming team, they train teams for competitions there as well. They also offer pc repairs and the staff seems really knowledgeable about games and gaming equipment of all kinds. I plan on going back with friends to hangout and game sometime soon- there was such a pleasant feel about this place, I highly suggest checking it out if you haven't yet.
