The classes are only $10 with no contract required, just come in, workout, and leave no hassle, no high pressure sales. They also have personal trainers, GFX (group personal training), Fly Yoga and more! Go see for yourself!

I think they offer one on one training as well and have a smaller weight room in the back of the facility. After neglecting my new years resolution to eat better and work out more, I challenged myself to do G-Force's classes using their current Groupon. I started going to their Body Flow class. The session I've been attending is an abbreviated lunch-time workout class that is a hybrid of Thai Chi and Yoga. It's not the most strenuous class, but it's a nice break up my day. It offers stretching and some core work. They offer other classes that are more intense, like Body Pump and combat. They even have a flying yoga class that uses silk ariels to twist up in. This is the first gym where I learned about "branded" workout programs. I mean, I knew that stuff like Zumba was a workout brand, but I guess I didn't realize that a gym could have all one brand for all their classes. This is a Less Mills gym and they use all of those programs in their class. The classes seem to emphasise workouts to music and have a heavy choreography component to it - like the moves are all timed to music, almost perfectly. Once you catch the beat, it's fun to the move to the music. Keep in mind that they don't offer showers for everyone. They have one bathroom with one shower stall but given that the shower is in the same room as the toilet, I feel bad tieing up the bathroom to shower after class, since others may need to go to the bathroom.

Pros: the price, it is clean, always open, the price, new equipment, the price, plenty if different equipment options, so many treadmills, the price, the guy who walks you to your car after a 2am workout. I worked for 10 years in a health club. I know much of the work that goes into maintaining a facility like this. It is hard to keep a facility looking this bright and clean. I am a bit of a gym rat, I like to work out and will likely get to be on the receiving end of a lunk alarm yet. Still, I like the idea of making the gym free of "gymtimidation" and keeping it affordable so that everyone can have access to personal fitness. I have always said that teaching someone to care for their body will not happen if you have to teach them first to hate how it looks. Planet Fitness is a place for everyone to learn to be fit. But seriously on the weights.

The front-desk greeter (not completely sure if it was a guy or girl but that's no matter as they were so unwelcoming) made me so uncomfortable that I wanted to leave the second I walked in. Then I was made to feel so judged in the bathroom by this same person-- I'm not sure what was going on. I don't care how great the machines are; with staff like this, I could never call this a gym a place I'd return to. Quite frankly it smells like weed and it was filthy....Horrible experience from start to finish.

It was $30! I could get a whole month membership near home for that! Here you're looking at a cool $100+ per month. Whew! BUT... seems like you get your money's worth. You have access to personal trainers, not sure if there's an extra fee. I saw one working with a couple guys and she was not routine trained planet fitness "trainer"! She was dedicated to them and pushed them to do more while having them do strength training exercises that were definitely not scripted. She seemed like the real deal. The gym has classes in cycling, cardio aerobics, yoga and more. As a member you get access to those at no extra fee. The gym is 3 floors with a host of cardio and strength training equipment sure to meet all you needs. Oh they have a turf room too. That was pretty sweet. Then to end your workout you go to the locker room and honestly I've only seen something this fancy in the movies. You got a sauna, clean bath towels, wood faced lockers, a warm carpeted floor, showers, bathrooms, hairdryers in front of private vanities with hair gel and lotion. I mean common!! It nice. Anywho it was clean, the ambiance is right, the staff are amazing so this location is getting 5 stars.

Which is more than the average small gym in the U.S. of A. Music is typically low-key...unless you happen to be on the upper floor during their bootcamp/class time. This gym is clean, staff is kind, and parking is metered unless you stop in after meter hours. This includes the weekend.
