Due to health conditions, I become dehydrated and hypotensive very easily and often pass out - but not this year! Brianne and her IV's have saved me thousands of dollars at this point because I have been able to avoid emergent trips to the ER by staying ahead of dehydration. Not only that, but Brianne is such a kind and friendly face when I'm feeling unwell with her main goal being to help me to feel better. Each time I have expressed my symptoms and she has made a recommendation on which therapy would be best suited for me - she has never once been wrong! During that visit, they went through what I understood to be a routine physical exam. At the end, I was told I needed to come back for the physical, and that what they had just done only counted as a re-establishment of care. I returned for the second visit, expecting something different. Instead, they repeated the exact same steps. Nothing changed. Then, I was billed for both visits separately--one as a re-establishment of care, and one as a physical. In reality, it felt like the same appointment split in two for billing purposes. This practice appears to be more focused on maximizing insurance billing than providing transparent, patient-centered care. I asked for an explanation but received no clear justification, just vague responses. This experience felt deceptive and unfair. I will not be returning, and I recommend others ask very specific questions about how their appointments will be categorized and billed to avoid being taken advantage of.
