I got 2 lehenga's for a destination wedding from here. Naina is super kind. She doesn't follow you around nor pressure you into anything. She lets you try on what you're interested in. She even let me sleep on the dresses I was debating between unlike other boutiques which pressure you into buying the day of. She listened to everyone of my alterations and made sure my outfit fit me perfectly. The price is super affordable. I think everything in the store is less than 700$ I bought a wedding lehenga which was around 500$ and the other around 350$. I see some reviews here saying she isn't kind, I completely disagree. She never once shammed any of my friends and we come in all sizes. She treated everyone with respect and maintained professional. read more

I've been shopping at Meena Bazaar for more than 7 years now and always leave the store with something in hand. But ever since Naina started working there, my experience has been nothing but terrible. She's so rude and unprofessional that it makes me not wuna go there. She's extremely judgmental when it comes to choosing sizes that she always tries her best to make you feel you're obese but she should know that it doesn't works. She ruined my wedding lehenga as well because she promised she was going to add all these accessories to my lehenga (since it was being made from scratch) and she never placed an order. She's the reason why i'll never step my foot in that store. She's an extremely rude and arrogant woman who shouldn't even be in customer service. I bought two suits on line from Meena Bazaar . I paid 21,000 thousands but when suits came I got surprise to see material of cloth . It was so bad material and color was also different . I got very disappointed . when i talked to customer care then they said u send them back and when i see shipment cost was 7000 thousands , i dropped the idea I decided to not return . I am living in USA when ever i come India i buy so many sari n suits from Meena Bazaar and i relisted that this Is the best store but i hv a bad experience on line shopping . read more

Awesome collections! I went in for the first time to purchase a dress for my mother's birthday. I was delighted to see beautiful Indian dresses here in the Bay Area. I remember times we buy a bunch of clothes during our trips to India saying "we may not find these types of dresses here in the USA". I ended up picking a kurta set with beautiful design that my mother loved and my wife picked up a few more designer tops. I went after Diwali so their collection felt sufficiently good for us. But please check with them right before festival season. I'd definitely go back for awesome Indian attires, for my wife though ! read more

I was sold a beautiful lehnga but most of the beads that were part of the top were missing. I asked for at least 20% refund of the amount I paid for it, because I now have to go get it fixed and spend more money. They did not give me any money back for selling me a bad quality lehnga. I asked for the owners name and number and she would not give it to me, she said she would talk to the owners and have them contact me. They have not contacted me, very bad customer service. Don't shop here, they will knowingly sell you bad quality. read more

Absolutely NO NO! When I entered there was a man loudly speaking with 2 women and one older woman showing things to a white woman customer. None of the workers acknowledged me. After about 7 min when the white customers asked that older woman- possibly the owner- "I hope I'm not keeping you from helping other customers" (I was the only other customer browsing there) the owner replied "no no no, nothing like that". So good for you. I won't return nor will I recommend this garbage place. I would continue to shop on Fabindia. For $100 I can get great quality, long lasting clothes to my doorstep. I visited few times with my wife and friends, last time visited with my parents, Naina is the manager, she offered them water, and make them comfortable during our shopping, she was helpful and supportive, she helped us for right selection , I purchased some stuff as gifts, but everyone is so happy. I used to work in this store and I had really bad experience with them the owner is soo rude with employees he don't respect the employees he said he don't care about employees. I never get my payroll on time and in my last payroll they paid half . Warning!!!!
