Worst customer service I've ever experienced -- avoid this place at all costs…read more This was hands down one of the most infuriating and unprofessional experiences I've ever had. Our vehicle was impounded on 7/22/25 and taken to Bacon's Wrecker Services after a medical emergency. The owner was rude, aggressive, and completely lacking in basic decency. He demanded both the title and registration, and even though we told him the registration was inside the car, he refused to allow us time to retrieve it. This forced us to make FOUR separate trips, each over an hour away, just to meet his unreasonable demands. On 8/15/25, we tried to pick up the vehicle without keys and simply wanted to roll it out in neutral. He flat-out refused and claimed it was illegal. When we came back the next day with everything, he jacked up the fee by $50 for no good reason, bringing it to $900. I paid $910 in cash, and he kept the $10 -- didn't offer change, didn't care. To make things worse, he yelled at us, lied about payment options, and acted like we were a burden for trying to get our own car back. This man should not be dealing with the public. The only halfway decent thing he did was waive a few days of extra storage, but that doesn't even begin to make up for the way we were treated. If you value your sanity, stay far away from this place.

NEGATIVE 5 stars!!!…read more Absolutely terrible experience. This company was dispatched through my insurance, and instead of helping us during an emergency, they attempted to extort an additional $300 on top of what my insurance had already approved. It was the middle of the night, I had my three children with me, and I made it clear how vulnerable we were. They had us waiting over two hours in the middle of nowhere, then said it would be another hour and a half before the driver could bring the "tools" from his house to fix our truck--for that extra $300. Rather than showing compassion, the driver was pushy and persistent, repeatedly pressuring me to agree to the additional charge. It felt like he was using my situation against me, assuming I'd say yes because I was stranded in the middle of the night with my children. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and refused. Fortunately, some incredible state troopers stepped in, treated us with kindness and respect, and helped us find another tow truck. I also gave them this company's information so they would be aware of what had occurred. No family should ever be treated this way during a roadside emergency. I've reported this incident to my insurance company and will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If this is how they treat families in crisis, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere..

We've been with USAA for 19 years and we have been stranded on the highway more times than I can count through the years, but We've never experienced a company who sends out drivers who blatantly lie to their potential customers. This driver actually told us that he was going back to his shop to pick up a tire for us and that it would take 30 minutes for him to get back to where we were stranded in the middle of the night....well HE NEVER SHOWED BACK UP, HE DIDN'T CALL, HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!!!! We had been stranded in between Okc and Chickasha for several hours! I wouldn't recommend this company to a dog pound, much less anyone else! 5 thumbs down for sure!!!!!

So there we were, Friday evening on a road trip up to the mountains from the South Bay. Suddenly,…read morewithout warning, all passengers in our Prius were struck with horror and panic, as the worst possible thing could happen to any normal driver: THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. Now, being men, we had to keep it together to calm the women and children and act like everything was alright ("no, I'm sure it's fine, it's probably a standard light that comes on at exactly 174,396 miles, the dealerships do it on purpose"). Mortally afraid and running on pure adrenaline, I did the unthinkable. I simply opened my yelp app and found A1 repair by filtering hours open and proximity to our location. Even now as I recall the event, I am shocked at how rational I was behaving under such extenuating circumstances. But I digress. The time was was 7:55 pm on a Friday night. We were 13 minutes away. Yelp indicated A1 closed at 8 PM. We weren't gonna make it. We were going to be stranded on a desert highway with nothing but sasquatch and axe murdered to keep us company at night. While us men were busy occupying ourselves with how we were going to fight off mythical creatures at night, suddenly, our female in the car did the impossible: she called Jasen, the friendly service technician, to see if he wouldn't mind staying open for another ten minutes, due to our obviously dire needs. Generously and professionally, he agreed and promptly help us to diagnose our check engine light, which turned out to be only a minor thing and nothing that couldn't wait til the next service appointment at the dealership. Well done, Jasen, you have saved us all! Highly recommend.

It was Saturday evening when we pulled into the gas station where this auto repair shop is located. Alex is the mechanic we met, and he was super nice. I mentioned Yelp and he perked up and gave us a 10% discount. Really super nice guy, and I highly recommend for your auto needs!
