A text was forwarded to me from their realtor showing the appointment was a "SALES" appointment. Because it was scheduled as such, we had a licensed structural engineer do a full inspection and write a report that stated there was nothing wrong with the foundation, which was provided to the buyers. Then Ram Jack comes out and recommends $4,600 in piers. We called the company and verified their "inspectors" are not engineers at all. Because they convinced an elderly couple that the house needed piers when it doesn't, the home purchases fell through for three families because we are NOT paying for piers on a house that doesn't need them!!! Funny that their TRR stated repairs MUST be done by Ram Jack. I have more thoughts on this that I'll keep to myself. This house is 8 years old with no cracks or shifting whatsoever. I suggest you do your due diligence before believing these SALESMEN!!!

He determined that only the west side of the house was dipping. We signed a transferable, with life-time warranty contract. Soon after their crew came and installed 4 piers on the NW corner of the house, and 4 piers in the SW corner under the foundation. Wwe had noticed brick separation on the outside of the bay window. They never honored their "Lifetime Warranty" and I doubt they'll honor "Transferable," because everything they say are only empty words. Buyer beware!!

This was not a big money-making job for them, but they came and fixed my leak and didn't do a quick rush-job. It was inspected thoroughly. This company is easy and a pleasure to work with. The guy that came out was very polite, took pictures and showed my the problems and the repairs he had made. He didn't try to sell me a new roof, very honest and trustworthy, which is something you don't see very often these days. I'd recommend this company to anyone that needed a new roof or any repairs, no matter where you live!! I will absolutely call them again when the need arises. SLICK SALES PITCH - POOR PERFORMANCE…read more Southlake Builders re-roofed my home. I had numerous issues in the process. They demanded payment before they finished their contract and threatened to file a lien on my home if I didn't agree to pay them before they completed their work. I'm still picking up nails and roofing material in my yard that was supposed to be removed. They also broke all of my flowerbed yard lights and a ceramic bird bath. I ended up contracting another company to finish the job. I have since found out that other companies charge much less for the same work. There are several good roofing contractors out there but Southlake Builders isn't one of them.
