I heard…read moreabout Chelvi's Heal Your Emotional Eating coaching programme and gave it a go with an open mind. It has been a real eye opener and brought many positive changes to my life, through simply bringing more awareness to my eating habits. I now have many positive eating habits. I have realised that until now I have been trying to use food to solve my emotional problems and it just does not work. Rather than feeling like food is controlling my life I now feel more relaxed and in control - because I know that food won't solve my emotional problems. Food is now much more of a pleasure. I am eating more healthily, sensibly and looking into solving my emotional problems in a more positive way. The programme also gave me some useful insights into the way I perceive my body which has made me feel much more at peace with my body image. A big thank you to Chelvi for your guidance and support

One surgeon in particular has gone above and beyond for me and that is Mr Norman he classes me as a friend and not a patient and has been one of the most helpful lovely people i've met there in my time. The rooms you have for when you stay for an operation are some of the best I have seen in hospitals and have en-suite's and tv and video as well as wireless connection. It is a wonderful hospital the only reason for the 4* is purely because the waiting time tends to be longer then one would want. But I like to believe it's because they do such a good job that they like to make sure they have all details on every aspect.
This is a private hospital located in Walderslade, Chatham and was previously known as BUPA…read moreAlexandra Hospital. Sadly, BUPA Hospitals recently sold off their hospitals to The Spire Group and they have all been rebadged. We have been fortunate to have private medical insurance for several years and, having had some serious health problems in the family, I am so glad we do. The staff at the hospital, on the whole, are really friendly, welcoming and helpful, with the exception of one or two nursing staff in outpatients. This exception is really down to the fact that when you have to have a 14 hour fasting blood test as a diabetic, it really means 14 hours, not 14 hours 45 minutes, 15 hours, 15 minutes, etc. To be honest, this is the only bad review about the place. We've been outpatients and inpatients and, hospitals being what they are, you don't really want to have to go to one at all, but needs must as they say. You are reassured immediately from the moment you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and, in the times of NHS targets and waiting lists, you may well be transferred there for treatment instead of the local NHS hospital. Don't hesitate.

Occasionally there is a new face behind the till, so I'm not saying the person who wrote the review below is lying, it's just not something I have ever noticed and I've been going to this shop for nearly a decade now. I always find treasures in this shop, whether books, clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery, DVDs, furnishings, ornaments and other knick knacks. I bought a lovely suede-effect lamp for my sitting room for £2 only a few weeks ago, and once I found a long grey French Connection coat with matching trousers in excellent condition for £12, and a beautiful turquoise Karen Millen Basque for £6. I love popping in for a bargain and/or a chat, sometimes I even get a cup of coffee. Last but not least, Kim is a trained counsellor and always has an ear, a warm smile and a hug for anyone in need. You can book sessions at a reduced rate which I believe are funded by the shop, so don't forget to drop of your old clothes and any junk, which may well be someone else's treasure. PS: Patrycha, don't you mean xenophobic? However I'm also not English so...perhaps it was a one-off volunteer? Why don't you to go back and give it another try...? I'm sure you'll change your mind. :-)

(Please note that the position of the medical centre on the map is incorrect due to the building…read morebeing part of a new development) The Estuary View Medical Centre is a minor injuries unit. It is situated just outside of Whitstable and is easily accessible from the dual carriageway or the centre of town. It is well signposted and is open from 8am - 8pm seven days a week. Me and my partner were recommended to visit this centre following advice from an out of hours surgery phoneline. On arrival it was clear that Estuary View has had a lot of money invested in it's construction. It is in attractive building with adequate parking and easy transport links. It is staffed by Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Healthcare assistants who are able to offer limited treatment to patients. As this is a minor injury unit they do not operate at the same level as an A&E department. However they do have the ability to conduct X-Rays. They can also refer you to a doctor at a local hospital (Margate A&E). My partners problem was not able to be treated at this centre but the nurses contacted the specific department in A&E and essentially saved us a long wait as the doctors knew we were coming. I believe that if more money was invested in facilities and staff rather than appearance the centre would most likely take more stress off hospitals than it currently does. Although my partner was not treated there she commented on how polite the staff were and how quickly her issue was dealt with.
