The rooms you have for when you stay for an operation are some of the best I have seen in hospitals and have en-suite's and tv and video as well as wireless connection. It is a wonderful hospital the only reason for the 4* is purely because the waiting time tends to be longer then one would want. But I like to believe it's because they do such a good job that they like to make sure they have all details on every aspect.

We have been fortunate to have private medical insurance for several years and, having had some serious health problems in the family, I am so glad we do. The staff at the hospital, on the whole, are really friendly, welcoming and helpful, with the exception of one or two nursing staff in outpatients. This exception is really down to the fact that when you have to have a 14 hour fasting blood test as a diabetic, it really means 14 hours, not 14 hours 45 minutes, 15 hours, 15 minutes, etc. To be honest, this is the only bad review about the place. We've been outpatients and inpatients and, hospitals being what they are, you don't really want to have to go to one at all, but needs must as they say. You are reassured immediately from the moment you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and, in the times of NHS targets and waiting lists, you may well be transferred there for treatment instead of the local NHS hospital. Don't hesitate.
