Absolutely horrible customer service and communication…read more I brought my dog in and was told the wait would be approximately 1-2 hours. I understand completely that this is an emergency facility and that critically ill animals have to be seen first. That is NOT what I am upset about. I sat there for 2 1/2 hours without anyone coming in to give me an update. Finally, I left the room myself and asked how much longer it was going to be. Only then did someone come back and tell me that several critical cases had come in and it would now be ANOTHER FIVE HOURS. So basically, had I not gotten up and asked, I could have continued sitting there for who knows how long with absolutely no communication. I had already rearranged my entire day based on the original 1-2 hour estimate, and I am traveling tomorrow. If someone had simply come in when the situation changed and said, "We've had several emergencies come in and unfortunately your wait is now going to be several more hours," I could have made other arrangements much earlier. Instead, no one bothered to tell me. To make matters worse, they suggested another veterinary clinic where I could take my dog. I called that clinic, only to find out they didn't even have a veterinarian there yet. So after wasting 2 1/2 hours at Thrive, I then had to find a THIRD facility myself where my dog could actually be seen. I completely understand prioritizing critically ill animals. What I do not understand is leaving a client sitting in a room for hours without communicating that the wait has changed dramatically, and then directing them somewhere that isn't even in a position to see their pet. A five-minute conversation could have prevented this entire situation. Emergencies are unavoidable. Terrible communication and customer service are not. I will not return.

This vet is great! I adopted a dog that happened to have kennel cough(its common, it happens…read moresometimes) and they have done everything in their power to help my sweet girl! They even call to check up to see if they need to intervene more. They were the only vet that I called and could get her in same day. From the first visit, I could see they were caring, efficient and not trying to gouge me for money. They also work very quickly and can usually diagnose the problem in under an hour if not sooner. My dog is also pretty calm when she goes in meaning I think shes knows they are not going to hurt her and are only going to help her. Although this vet is a little far for me, I will continue to go here knowing they actually care as much as I do about my furry family! Thanks Paradise Point! Keep up the good work!

So about two years ago, I took our new cat there. I saw Dr. Garthe. People rave about her but she was cold and had a dismissive attitude toward me. I did not go back. I also find it super weird that her husband is the one that responds to the reviews in Google. I'm guessing he's an "employee" office staff since she is the doctor and acts like she doesn't have the time to speak to you. Do not go here.

Today was a little longer (25 minutes), as expected the young lady in reception noticed I'd been sitting for awhile & announced again our 9am appointment. The fact that she took the initiative to make the call again is one of the reasons I bring my dogs here. The only issue is the cost; their costs have increased A LOT, not typical inflation & Democrat policies as we have had in the last 5 years. 1 Cytopoint shot has gone up from $90 to $140! The proximity to my house & staff are the ONLY reason we come here, but I'm really thinking of changing vets.. I would be bummed but I need to make sure my Girl is comfortable due to her allergies, this is not a optional shot.

A friend suggested Bella Vet and she was able to get us in same day. The mobile setup she has is fantastic and convenient but more than that the visit was worth every penny!!! The doc spent over an hour with my dog, cleaning the bites and giving him a head to toe exam. You can tell she loves animals and her job - it shows! I get a call 4 hours before the apt stating they have to cancel because it's raining. When I confirmed the day before no one said anything about the possibility of canceling due to rain the next day. We both took the entire day off for this apt. Days off work are not easy to come by. We had heard really good things about this vet practice but we didn't get that from our experience. I would like to note this office tried to move our apt earlier in the week which they changed their minds and kept the apt. My guess is they needed my time slot for someone else.

Stonecrest got us in on a Saturday as our regular vet was closed. They put at ease right away and were very generous with their time explaining what to expect as our pup had kennel cough despite having been vaccinated for Bordatella. Harry is approximately 15 years old and recently had to have 26 teeth extracted. That's a pretty big surgery for any dog, let alone one his age! I was understandably nervous, especially since another vet had previously recommended taking him to a specialist because of his age. I brought him back yesterday for his post-op appointment, and he's healing beautifully! I can't tell you how happy that makes me. Knowing that all those infected and abscessed teeth are gone, and that he'll be able to live a healthier, more comfortable life, means so much to me. I also want to mention that they offer mobile veterinary services, which I think is fantastic! I haven't used that service yet, but it's actually one of the reasons I was initially drawn to them.
