System knew they…read morewould no longer accept marketplace plans after 2026, yet did not announce it until after open enrollment. Some patients do not have access to employee plans and rely on Marketplace plans. Baylor Scott and White has decided to make a political based business decision based on recent Medicaid changes, while eliminating individual marketplace plans. For patients, we work to build our medical care teams within the BSW system, only now to be told our continuity of care matters not. Interestingly, the media is the one that has announced the end of these plans, yet the system has yet to inform the plan holders. I am sure that they will further change clinic and hospital insurance policy to not accept outside insurance plans. Sad to see a community care system which sends the message to the community "we want to care for you, but only if you are not on a marketplace plan or Medicaid". I used to be a proud customer/patient/client of Baylor, Scott and White but they have demonstrated a few times now, they care not about patients not Medicaid or marketplace associated.

The rooms are clean and they not only wash hands between patients but they also sanitize with sanitizer. It is a policy of theirs. I had a situation with no masks being used at a facility so I just searched on the internet and found an email / name of the second in charge. I let him know what was happening and this changed the next day (I had another appointment there). I like their policy to be your own advocate so if something in your gut is telling you something speak up! I kept fighting for my pain issues and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. That was 18 years ago. I still kept getting pain, and I found out I had a rare immune disorder. My doctor fought for me and I absolutely will always be thankful.

I have a family member who works for Centikor, and I want to take a moment to thank all of the…read moreproviders who have been able to survive this toxic work culture. Excellent therapists. The reason why Centikor gets 1 star is because I can't give them 0 stars, and because I don't have time to report them for systemic malfeasance. Corporate policy includes: forcing providers to offer services that do not exist, maximizing the number of clients each provider sees per day to maximize profit for shareholders, not allowing providers to eat/drink (other than water) at their desk, firing employees that perform phenomenal therapy services but that aren't willing to lie to their clients. These are just a few of the many examples that shows that the Centikor management team looks at their qualified, licensed team of providers as warm bodies, there to clock in and clock out and not care about their patients--yes, the management team has told providers to NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS. The management team has also threatened to fire their employees in exchange for college interns "who could do the job just as well" as the licensed, qualified providers do. If you are a mental health professional looking for work, go anywhere--ANYWHERE--but here. If you are in need of mental health counseling, go anywhere--ANYWHERE--but here. I'll pray for the therapists and the patients who continue to work here/go here for counseling because they have nowhere else... And I'll especially pray for the management team--may God have mercy on you all.
