I wanted help and knew I needed it. He was kind and I would talk to him about things that bothered me. He would suggest things for me to wright about and then review in our next session. He sent me to get properly diagnosed, but was the first to identify my issues with borderline. He opened a gateway to self examination that would prove to be useful in order to move past my emotional problems. Without the skills he offered to me I would not have been able to be honest to myself about my addiction issues and I would not be clean today. He helped me to have the ability to accept what I needed to work on in order to become a person I actually like. I was able to see how my actions effected others and he helped me learn to work on self control and to avoid factors that would serve as a trigger In making me upset. He was careful not to pry and let he me be the one to decide when I was ready to share. He took everything into confidence and was very professional in handling my distraught mother. I never once felt like he wasn't on my side. I truly felt as if he could really help me. I can honestly say he is the key that opened the door for a brighter future!!!
