This is my go-to spot whenever I'm at the mall. It's located in the food court, and while the mall itself isn't very lively, it's nostalgic for me and has that classic food court vibe. The service is always quick, and everything tastes fresh and delicious. I always order the gyro combo with tabbouleh and it never disappoints. The flavors are great and the portions are solid. The best Mediterranean food in the area! Don't just go because you're in the Oviedo Mall, go because the food and service is amazing! This authentic Mediterranean restaurant is located in the Oviedo Mall food court. There is a lot of space and plenty of seating to enjoy your food. Both times we have gone it's been at closing time and Paco is the one who has served us. Not only is he genuine, friendly and amazing but he makes the best food you could imagine. I honestly hope every time we come here Paco is the one who helps us. Let's start with the Gyro, it's the best I ever had! The ingredients are all spread out into equal portions so each bite is amazing. I would highly recommend this every time. For the sides, the dolma, seafood salad and Greek salad are a must! The dolma has a great sour and acidic flavor to accompany the filling and grape leaves. The Seafood salad is creamy and smooth and very flavorful. The French fries have the perfect texture and seasoning. The Greek salad is a nice refreshment with crispy fresh vegetables that cuts away from the heavier foods. Ordered a lamb Gyro. Portions and fixins' were good. I had forgotten to ask for extra sauce. The service was also good. The nly thing the app forgot to mention is the store front is on the food court of the Oviedo Mall. So there is seating area availble inside and outside. overall good experience. read more

This place makes great gyro sandwiches and falafel's. Everything is very authentic and fresh, they even have a lamb spit going, so you know you're getting fresh cooked meat. I skipped the fries which looked really good and got the Tabbouleh salad instead. Very good too. Well worth a trip to the Oviedo Mall Food Court, if you want some authentic Greek comfort food. Ordered via Uber Eats. So, while i can't comment on the customer service or cleanliness, I can say that the food was delicious. The spices on the chicken kabobs and however they cooked it made it some of the best chicken I've had. The Greek salad and Mediterranean salad are also very good. I am a pretty basic person meaning that once I find something I like that is the only thing I order. That being said... The rolls are my absolute favourite thing. The pasta salad i think its called is also very good. My mother on the other hand loves all of their salad and falafels. The staff is a pleasure to deal with and if you go more than a few times they always remember you. read more

This food was delicious, much better than expected in a mall food court. We had 2 falafel meals with 4 different sides: hummus with pita, tabouli, chickpea salad, Greek salad, and also baklava. Everything tasted fresh and seemed homemade. If I lived nearby, I would stop in often for carryout. Give this place a try! I have to admit I do not expect much from a stand in the mall. Call me a food snob. I am a fan of gyros and have been for a long time. So we decided to give it a shot. I ordered a gyro and my wife a combination of several Greek style salads. I will say that you will not go hungry if you order the combo with three salads. Afterall, they are actually Greek people working there. The salads seemed fresh too. The food was way better than I expected. The gyro could have used a little less sauce though. I like the flavor but it is a tad messy. It would seem that the food is prepared on site which is a plus. It is fast, easy, and priced about the same as the other stands in the food court. The menu is limited but I it has all the Greek favorites. Overall, good food and decent pricing. read more

Been here a couple of times and it has been good always! But when when I ordered today, I was honestly disappointed. I got the beef kebab with Greek salad but man has the quality gone down a bit. The beef Kebabs were ok, had a weird grainy texture and was covered in sautéed onions and tomatoes which, along with the kebab was quite bland. The Greek salad used to full of delicious olives and big chunk a of feta but now was mostly tomatoes and cucumber with a lot of the water from the bottom of the pan. The tsatziki sauce is ok, again bland. Also, I remember getting a flat bread as part of the meal but this time around there was none. And honestly get the flat bread! It would've helped with the overall texture of the meat. So the quality obviously has gone down a tad bit since I ordered last. I would recommend the gyro though. When I had it last it was very delicious, wish I ordered that instead! Drinks are not included in the combo meals so expect to pay extra for it. read more

Mall had just opened so the place was dead. Stopped by and the guy convinced me to get the turkey wrap. It was pre-made but I asked for one without tomato. He looked annoyed and said he would have to make a new one. I was the only customer and was in no hurry so I said that is fine. So he brought a guy out and I thought he was making a new one while I paid. He then handed me the wrap and all he did was take a pre-made one and remove the tomato because there was a gap where the tomato had been and you could see the remnants of tomato. I could have done that myself if that is all they were going to do. They are lucky I'm not allergic pulling a stunt like that. How lazy and horrible customer service. Turkey was too heavy on the spices too. Never eating here again. read more

4 stars because I'm a food snob lol. Everything and I do mean everything taste great and fresh. My one and only issue is with the Kibbeh. No pine nuts! The mixed grill is probably the best on the menu but every thing is excellent. The portions are large and if you leave still feeling hungry go see a doctor. read more

I'm not sure what's worse the customer service or the food not to mention the extremely expensive prices for the smallest portions of soggy and nasty food that tastes like it's been sitting out for days. This is the best bang for your buck around. Wife, kid, and myself are happy & full for less than $25 every time. My favorite is the mixed grill. Wife likes the wrap/roll thing they got. Not exactly sure what's in the roll, but it's damn good. Great staff, too. I hope this place sticks around for a while! read more

Still five stars for the food, but the service is slipping a bit... Generally they are very fast and accurate with my order, but the last visit not so much. A large man slicing up rolls for samples sort of took my order, then forgot my order, then the older gentleman (who is always great) took over and finally I got what I wanted. Mind you, it was very busy, but the ordering system broke down once slicer guy (he never stopped slicing while I was there, which was quite a while) was allowed to call the shots. Best food ever indulged by this guy, the chicken kebab is literally some of the best ever! The spices they use are to die for!!! but, the best part is the service!! They will never forget you! Expected a good tasting sandwich. I did order the steak sub with fries, not their gyro. The steak didnt have any taste. The fries not a fan, bagged standard fries that they sprinked some white stuff on it, i think cheese. It had an off tase. If it was cheese I can see how that would effect the taste. I really dont eat fries anymore, and I never use cheese, but this comes as a combo with drink. Threw most of them out, just tasted frozen and after taste. read more

A bowl place in a strip mall. No concerns. The place was clean. Service was spectacular. The person who I take was an owner helped take our order, and she had great insights into the menu. We talked, and she gave me a good tip on mixing two of the sauces together to make a new sauce that was creamy and spicy. Very fun. Food was perfect, too. There weren't tubs of continuously heated proteins just sitting out in the open. Every order was grabbed from the cooler and heated up on the flat top. That really added a nice little crisp to the proteins, a tiny bit of char. The menu was that of a typical bowl place. Bases, hummuses, proteins, toppings, lots of variety. Everything had a nice, prominent flavor, the veg was fresh and crisp, and the quantities were very optimal. I was full after my bowl, and that doesn't always happen. Overall, I thought I found a diamond in the rough, but the townspeople let me down once again. RIP, Hummus Republic. I will remember you fondly.
