I am certainly glad I was wrong about that, and after one workout I was hooked. The trainers are excellent at modifying moves for beginners or if you have any physical limitations. The team atmosphere and the workouts are like nothing I have ever experienced at any other gym. This place motivates you to get better and work harder every time you walk through the door, something that I wasn't getting at my regular gym. I would typically wander around doing a little of this and a little of that and convincing myself that it was better than nothing. I guess that would be true if I was in the shape that I want to be in, but I am not. At Crossfit the workouts are laid out for you and the atmosphere makes you push yourself to a level that you didn't even know you had. I know that after 6 weeks I feel stronger and leaner than I have in a very long time. If you really want to make a change in the way you look and feel, you should give it a try.

It's a great atmosphere! With great trainers!!! Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new way to lose weight, or even just changing your lifestyle to stay fit! The trainers are awesome! Now, while I was there, I became friends with other clients, we had an amazing bond, and we all helped each other reach our goal! My first two weeks, they kicked my ass and I lost 5 inches!! -the first two weeks!!! The trainers will help you get there without dreading the workouts. Every time you think you know what workouts they're going to throw at you, they switch it up on you! I've learned so much about different muscle groups, body fats, what body parts the work out is targeting and etc! It is super fun, effective and you won't find any other place like it!

This gym is in an interesting location. Its in an office building and was much smaller than what I…read moreexpected. The walls are mostly brick with one wall of mirrors in the yoga room. It looks a little dingy. It didn't look as clean and serene as other yoga studios I'd been to. Aside from the appearance, the yoga class I took was more instructional and technical, whereas my home studio tends to be a bit more meditative and relaxing. The instructor walked us through every small detail of the movements we were doing, which I found helpful, as it took me back to the very basics of yoga. But there wasn't much done for the "yoga mood" like increasingly dim lights as we approached savansana or the use of a Tibetan singing bowl. I didn't feel as spiritually happy as I usually do when I leave yoga classes but this technical instruction was nice and the teacher was very friendly. EDIT: Took vinyasa flow with Sheila and pilates reformer with Alyssa and LOVED both. Both of these teachers are friendly and bubbly and know their stuff. Sheila's yoga class is just the kind I like. It challenged me with new poses I haven't done before and I felt sore the day after! I also had my heart rate up the whole class thanks to her awesome routine! Alyssa's class was a work out!! Works your muscles tons and stretches you so well! It was my first time using a reformer and tower and it was awesome! Bumped it up from 3 stars to 5!

I had a membership and was getting some individual training and paying for that. Then I got breast cancer and after my surgery and during radiation I requested to put my training and my membership on hold but told them I would return as soon as I could. I can't recall now but they have a policy of putting things on hold for only a limited amount of time and then it starts back up again - even with the letter from my surgeon and radiologist. So they were charging me while I was recovering from surgery, etc. For some strange reason - I had imagined they would be sympathetic and might want to partner with me in my recovery. But that would be a big no. They had zero sympathy and insisted that charging me was just their policy and that was that. I was super disappointed in them on many levels. I cancelled my membership and of course that was complicated as well. I spent money on many months of membership and personal training I could not use and showed very good reason for not being able to do so. Just sad - helping someone recover and get their strength and self esteem back after traumatic surgery ... well that would have been a nice review to write. Just wasn't going to happen here.

Some of my thoughts and opinions since trying out this gym. I went at around 6:30 pm friday which…read moreshould be somewhat busy. My first impression of the layout is that. Its extremely odd. As you come in theres a decent sized front desk area and waiting room. The layout of the gym is pretty open but its quite small for a gym in my opinion. You can see the entire gym from the front desk (besides a portion of the turf) which feels weird when youre working out. The most strange part is how someone thought it was a great idea to place the cardio section as the first are in the gym as u walk past the front desk. I dont know how many people feel comfortable with having everyone coming into the gym see you when youre most vulnerable lol. Theres also weird sectioned partition walls (about 3 ft) to cage this area in. I think they could of done away w this. The other main issue I have is how the gym smells like dirty socks/ mildew Other cons: - only 2 squat racks and 1 smith machine - limited cables - very dated bathrooms/lockers/gym - like i mean it looks like the tuscan italian 2000s kitchen aesthetic - didnt see any 2.5lb weight stack for the cables/machines (this couldve been hiding, but accessories should still be easily accessible) - overpriced for what it is. I think this gym is worth $20 a month w an max annual fee of $40. As of 1/14 the basic membership is $25/mo + $150 start up + $60 annual fee - womens sauna light wasnt working Pros: - somewhat new machines (but not well kept) - incremental dumbbells up to 30 lbs or something - gender saunas and in locker rooms ( the co ed communal saunas that r near the pools are never clean and nice) - nice and friendly front desk guy (younger 20s/teens - has a nice turf

This worked in my favor as I had intended to call and cancel my upcoming sessions as I felt it would not be responsible to continue coming into the studio after being on an airplane at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. We jumped at the chance to do virtual workouts. My husband, John, and I have a joint session with Joe twice a week. We already had 2 make-up sessions last week with Brianna and Lizzie (making up for those I missed while travelling). This morning was our first session with Joe via FaceTime. To get the blood pumping, before connecting with Joe, we did a warm up by walking up and down the stairs multiple times. Joe called us 5 minutes ahead of our session and we were ready to get going. While it is not the same as being in the studio, this is a great alternative to making sure that we maintain our fitness goals. I'm amazed at how much we were able to do with the limited resources we have at home! A sturdy chair, the wall, the floor - all are areas that can be used to achieve the workout that you need to stay fit and healthy. I can highly recommend this alternative during this time. It's great to still get our workout in, stay healthy, and be responsible. I am looking forward to being able to get back on the treadmill though, especially when the weather is not so great out. Thanks for offering this alternative. Stay safe and healthy and we'll see you again virtually for our next session.
