Recommended by a friend, we stopped here after a long walk in Old San Juan, and it was exactly what we needed. The seating was great--cozy and cool indoors, with outdoor seating also available. This place is a phenomenal breakfast/brunch place. The service was top-of-the-line, and the quality of the food was AMAZING!!. Our breakfast platters were devoured quickly because of how good they tasted and the presentation was so A+. The coffees are beautifully presented and super tasty we had the caramel Latte and mocha. I ordered the americano,3 fried eggs, bacon, and ham, and also brought pancakes. They were delicious! This place is a must. FIRST, great latte-- definitely a good place for a good coffee. However, the cooks are working in auto mode. I requested my breakfast with the bacon shredded with the scrambled eggs, onions and green peppers. The bacon was on the side as they typically serve. The menu shows my order with Nutella pancakes. I explicitly asked not Nutella. Well, it was spread all over both pancakes. They ended in the garbage because obviously I couldn't eat them. And then you wonder why the diabetes population in PR is super high. Sorry, but that combination is pretty disgusting. Anyway, the order was given in a timely manner, but again it's clear the rush doesn't make them to read the instructions provided from the person talking the order. Just make sure to order something that you are fully okay from the menu without giving any instructions. They work in auto pilot. read more

Amazing little spot. I first I didn't like it because the waitress spoken Spanish super fast and I didn't understand. But she knew our Spanish was rough and slow down for us to understand. The coffee was amazing good. We have been avoiding Starbucks for our whole trip. This one cup of coffee sisbt disappoint. My wife got the veggie scrabble and I got the boricua plates. I been getting dishes that they different than what they got in the states. Only thing I didn't like was the French toast that came with my buricua dish. Came in on a not so busy morning. Only 2 patrons inside. We sat and the waitress came by to get our order. We ordered two coffees. When they brought them, they had foam on top in shape of a heart and what I think it's the Yelp logo. Pretty cool! I ordered the chicken and waffles. This was the worst chicken and waffles I've ever had. It came with so much syrup, it was drenched. The fried chicken was thin slices of chicken drenched in Chinese sweet & sour style sauce. The worst flavors combined. I took the chicken and placed on another plate. I tried eating the waffle by itself but it was not edible. Worst part, was that the waitress, after she served us the plate, was nowhere to be found. Then we hear a girl talking so loud in the back of the restaurant. By the time we were done, we went up to the register to pay and when we looked in the back, there were 5 employees, including our waitress, just chit chatting away. Where is the manager? Overall - cute coffee but this is Puerto Rico, you can find great coffee anywhere. I don't need the fancy foam if this is the kind of service they have. read more

This cafe was surprisingly busy for a Thursday morning! I ordered an almond milk latte and the vegetable scrambled eggs. The almond milk latte was perfect--did not have any of the bitterness that I typically have come across with coffee in Puerto Rico. The food came out quickly. The scrambled eggs had carrots and zucchini included in them, something I had never encountered with my eggs but I was pleasantly surprised by them. The carrot offered a little sweet crunch which was perfect. The accompanying toast was of high grain quality and stayed toasty with the salty butter on top. The service was great--I was in need of nothing. Prices are very reasonable. All in all I would go again for breakfast/brunch but definitely not to study as it is a little too noisy. read more

New place in a corner of Escorial. Was not overly impressed! Prices are average. Place is a little small but cozy. I had the Italy and Paris which looked good, but taste-wise was meh! I've eaten better omelets in IHOP! Our waitress was nice but slow. They need variety. We went for Sunday brunch, and they didn't have mimosas!! I was so disappointed :( The menu was very disorganized. I know they serve lunch and dinner too. read more

I was there this morning and the staff were very rude. I asked for two coffees to go and they told me and my wife to wait outside. Once outside they said that we were are not allow to seat in there, because of other people. Not one was waiting for any seats. I would not recommend this place. Little cozy spot on the corner of plaza Escorial. It's a must if you need to get your coffee fixt this is the place to go.. My wife loved the big coffee and texture. We went for the Brunch menu.. Big Portions and open to suggestions, great presentation Loved the Belgian Waffles. It's such a great option to have when you want a Brunch restaurant that's not situated on you're usual spot. Will come back to try some coffee from 1/2 Pocillo's house Barista. I gave my opinion to the staff about some details in how to better the brunch experience , but since the place is new they are still waiting for permits to sell spirit drinks.. But don't let this little flaw keep you from enjoying this cozy corner in Escorial !!! read more

The wraps and pastas are great! I'd also recommend the homemade chips and the sandwiches. Very nice place and the prices are moderate.

The tables are sticky and filthy. The smell of their trash dumpster creeps around into the front porch where the outside seating area is. We arrived at 11:10, it is now 12:20 and my girlfriends food isn't ready. She ordered a veggie omelette that was returned 15 minutes ago because it had ham in it. I ordered my eggs over easy, they came really runny and also had to return them. There are weird particles in my water that I now noticed since all the ice has melted due to the long wait. My bacon was old and cold and the pancake seemed like it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. The cats are kinda fun though. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because they comped the whole meal without me asking or saying anything. read more
