Americano Breakfast
Idsia R.

This place is a phenomenal breakfast/brunch place. The service was top-of-the-line, and the quality of the food was AMAZING!!. Our breakfast platters were devoured quickly because of how good they tasted and the presentation was so A+. The coffees are beautifully presented and super tasty we had the caramel Latte and mocha. I ordered the americano,3 fried eggs, bacon, and ham, and also brought pancakes. They were delicious! This place is a must. The staff is very friendly and there's a happy mood in the whole restaurant, It is a bit small inside but they have ample sitting outside as well with plenty of shades.

Pretty great food. Coffee was amazing. Pancakes (usually with Nutella but we got them without it) were very "interesting" tasting. Not bad, just very different. Best I could describe is they tasted like wheat.

Amazing little spot. I first I didn't like it because the waitress spoken Spanish super fast and I didn't understand. But she knew our Spanish was rough and slow down for us to understand. The coffee was amazing good. We have been avoiding Starbucks for our whole trip. This one cup of coffee sisbt disappoint. My wife got the veggie scrabble and I got the boricua plates. I been getting dishes that they different than what they got in the states. Only thing I didn't like was the French toast that came with my buricua dish. Other than that every was great and washed down with freshly squeezed orange juice.

Came in on a not so busy morning. Only 2 patrons inside. We sat and the waitress came by to get our order. We ordered two coffees. When they brought them, they had foam on top in shape of a heart and what I think it's the Yelp logo. Pretty cool! I ordered the chicken and waffles. This was the worst chicken and waffles I've ever had. It came with so much syrup, it was drenched. The fried chicken was thin slices of chicken drenched in Chinese sweet & sour style sauce. The worst flavors combined. I took the chicken and placed on another plate. I tried eating the waffle by itself but it was not edible. Worst part, was that the waitress, after she served us the plate, was nowhere to be found. Then we hear a girl talking so loud in the back of the restaurant. By the time we were done, we went up to the register to pay and when we looked in the back, there were 5 employees, including our waitress, just chit chatting away. Where is the manager? Overall - cute coffee but this is Puerto Rico, you can find great coffee anywhere. I don't need the fancy foam if this is the kind of service they have.

Vegetable scrambled eggs and almond milk latte!

This cafe was surprisingly busy for a Thursday morning! I ordered an almond milk latte and the vegetable scrambled eggs. The almond milk latte was perfect--did not have any of the bitterness that I typically have come across with coffee in Puerto Rico. The food came out quickly. The scrambled eggs had carrots and zucchini included in them, something I had never encountered with my eggs but I was pleasantly surprised by them. The carrot offered a little sweet crunch which was perfect. The accompanying toast was of high grain quality and stayed toasty with the salty butter on top. The service was great--I was in need of nothing. Prices are very reasonable. All in all I would go again for breakfast/brunch but definitely not to study as it is a little too noisy.

I love this place. Our server Lory is the best! She always has a great attitude and is always willing to give us a recommendation. The food is fresh and always tastes awesome. I usually get the caramel latte and it's creamy and delicious. Definitely recommend coming here.

New place in a corner of Escorial. Was not overly impressed! Prices are average. Place is a little small but cozy. I had the Italy and Paris which looked good, but taste-wise was meh! I've eaten better omelets in IHOP! Our waitress was nice but slow. They need variety. We went for Sunday brunch, and they didn't have mimosas!! I was so disappointed :( The menu was very disorganized. I know they serve lunch and dinner too.

The wraps and pastas are great! I'd also recommend the homemade chips and the sandwiches. Very nice place and the prices are moderate.

It was our last day in Puerto Rico, so right before we had to go to the airport, my friends and I…read moredecided to grab a caffeinated drink. I found this place on Yelp and it looked very pretty; it was perfect for a tranquil start to the day. We called them to inquire about parking and whether this place was open to the public or if it was just for hotel patrons. We parked in the hotel lot and it is open to the public. They did have a person at the counter who could take our order with a menu above their head, but they also had kiosks. I chose the kiosk because it's less pressure; I was allowed to browse the full menu at my pace without feeling the pressure of someone behind me trying to place their order. I was torn between the iced matcha and the iced chai. I went with the iced chai with whipped cream (+$0.50). They ask for your phone number and text you when your order is ready. While we waited, we used the bathroom, which was on their patio area around the corner from the building. On our walk there, we noticed all the plants and greenery they have, both on the wall and around the perimeters of the tables. The bathroom was spacious and clean, but no stalls, just one. I liked that they had seating indoor and outdoor (both regular and high tables) but it was such a good day to not sit outside. The outdoor seating is completely shaded. We sat down at one of the corner areas. After about 10 minutes, our orders were ready. The ice chai was delicious! It had a subtle mocha flavor, with subtle taste of spices, and was very creamy. Halfway through, I needed more ice so I got some from their vending machine. When we went to validate our parking ticket, it came out to about $1.50 which wasn't bad for the hour + we were there.

Review #1,052 Posted on 5.1.26…read more We came here for coffee on Saturday morning April 25th. This spot is located at the bottom of the Residence Inn in Isle Verde. This place is super nice, it reminded my wife & I of Porto's a bit. They've got both indoor & outdoor seating. We ordered their classic coffee with coconut, called the Coqui. Now the place is awesome atmosphere, good drinks, good food, but it took way too long to get our order, amateur hour as far as that goes. It took them 45 minutes to get our coffee & food out, and we're not talking a four course meal chef Ramsey prepared, it was literally 1 breakfast sandwich. We weren't alone either, countless people waiting for a very long time with us, I don't get how it could get you that point to be honest. They had at least 10 workers back there, I could see 10 minutes, even 15, 20 is pushing it, but 45? Coffee & sandwich were good, but nothing special and for sure not worth the irritation that sets in when you're left waiting to that degree. I thought of giving this place higher marks because it's a very nice establishment, clean, lots of places to sit, and nice atmosphere, but they earned this 2 spot they're getting for the experience I had.

The temperature was absolutely perfect with just a slight breeze--it really set the stage for an elevated dining experience. The drinks were excellent and expertly crafted. We started with appetizers that were both unique and packed with flavor; you can really taste the creative touch José Enrique brings to the menu. The service was top-notch--attentive without being overbearing. It is definitely on the pricier side, but for the quality of food and the atmosphere, it was very worth it. Our waiter gave great recommendations, and we thoroughly enjoyed both our meals and drinks. One thing I've noticed while visiting PR is that service tends to be a bit slower across the board, so I was expecting that here as well. I was slightly hopeful it might be quicker since we came later in the evening as the crowd was clearing out, but there was still a bit of a wait for our food. We dined on the outdoor patio, which was a great atmosphere and added to the overall experience. I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area and looking for an upscale take on traditional Puerto Rican cuisine.
