Reading is especially emphasized at St. Louis and both my girls have received superior ratings on their STAAR testing at public school. St. Louis gives our students a strong spiritual base with emphasis on serving others in need. One of my favorite aspects is that students learn to speak in front of an assembly with confidence. My oldest daughter was especially shy and graduated 5th grade with a confidence and outgoing personality. My mom, aunts, uncles, and my oldest sister graduated from St. Louis [I attended 1st Grade there before it closed in 1968, reopening in 1986] so this red brick school will always be an important part of our family tradition. When finances were tight one year I researched the San Antonio area private schools and St. Louis was the best bargain. A great foundation!

The space (classroom, dining area, and also used for resting and play) is a very small room towards the front of this home. However, everything is organized and clean. I don't know how she does it, but Rose runs a tight ship but with lots of love and fun. I enjoyed hearing her speak about how Nature Bear will be a safe and educational environment for my grandson and I fully believe her!
