They offered a little bit of advice on care. A good experience if you do your research ahead of time and know what you want. Depending on the animal, staff knowledge can be limited. I don't recommend buying crickets here. They are very strict with the counting and then in transport some usually don't make it and then the animals won't eat.

Instead of a quick 5-minute service, I got questioned, talked down to, and then told I was basically not welcome to spend money there anymore. Over a nail trim. For the record, my vet is The Pet Vet. Very real. Very open. Very easy to verify. I've never had a business jump straight to accusations like that instead of, you know... just checking. If you're local, just be aware--this was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional customer service experiences I've had in a long time. He still sparks terror into the dog around every corner. He enjoys a rough brushing, like something out of a rugby match, but will not allow tummy touch. He typically will leave his morning food sit most of the day and wait to see if he gets any of our handouts or leftovers. It is a whole different story with this Even my cats want to eat it out of his bowl. He has even been known to whine and sulk in hopes of getting more. I converted to this food when I lived in Arizona and had two dogs that I had to clean up my landscaped yard which had no grass and all pea gravel. A friend had told me that her dogs waste was much smaller and compact on this food so I decided to give it a try and it was all true. The food resembles rabbit pellets. It is not cheap but comparable to other high end pet food choices you will find on the shelf at your pet food store. I have attempted to switch from time to time to help my wallet out but in the end I always go back and just suck it up and shell out more dollars for a quality food that helps with yard clean up. I know every mama feels this way but I seriously do have a very beautiful boy and random people are always commenting on how gorgeous his coat is.
