Very poor experience with Magical Cleanings…read more The cleaner arrived without a vacuum, which immediately made it impossible to properly clean the floors. By the time she left, the floors were still dirty, sticky, and visibly streaked. Mirrors were left with a film, and all stainless steel appliances had noticeable streaks and dried product residue -- they looked worse than before the cleaning. I had to repeatedly point out areas that were missed, and at one point the cleaner asked if a Brillo pad should be used on stainless steel, which was alarming. She also cleaned barefoot, leaving footprints across the floors. I spent the entire day home for this service and now have to re-clean everything myself and purchase cleaning supplies -- completely defeating the purpose of hiring a professional cleaning company. The company offered only a minimal partial refund or to send the same cleaner back. Given the quality of the service, I declined the re-clean and requested a more reasonable resolution, which was not provided. This was not a professional-level service, and I would not recommend Magical Cleanings based on this experience.

(I got about 10 quotes that were mostly right around $200.) I was needing a cleaning quickly, and they were able to schedule me for first thing in the morning the following Monday. Their communication was great, and they showed up right on time! 2 people came to clean. My house. They cleaned the entire house (minus 2 bedrooms I asked them to skip) in only a few hours. They made my kitchen sinks and bathtubs sparkle like they were new. Overall, the cleaning was good! I found a few spots around the bathroom faucets that still had some of the white mineral build up from the Florida water, but I'm not even sure how to get that off myself.
