I needed multiple forms filled out for my employer and my insurance company. I did not understand the forms nor did I understand who was supposed to fill the forms out. I called 3 separate times and spoke with 5 separate people. All but one of the experiences were discouraging and frustrating. I talked with personnel who could not answer my questions and passed me off to managers. I spoke with personnel who talked over me and who spoke down to me. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes just to have the call end. Sitting at home recovering from surgery and trying to get the records to complete forms needed for work and insurance purposes is difficult enough without having to deal with the only company I can access needed information from and they do not seem at all interested in helping. Like they know they are your last resort and there is nothing you can do about it. :( Finally I spoke with Diana Mulavdic and she was an answer to a prayer! She answered every question and explained the process to me when I questioned her further for explanation. She took care of everything she could while on the phone with me. Most importantly to me, she did all of this in an extremely professional and respectful manner. There have been very few times in my life I have received such good customer service over the phone. One great employee out of five is definitely not worthy of a good review for this company, but someone like Ms Mulavdic is worthy of an excellent review. She wasn't just better than the rest, she did the job the others, did not, could not, were not willing to do. read more

Without a doubt this company holds the record for being the worst people I have ever had to deal with in the business world. No one, especially elderly people, should have to jump through so many hoops and rituals as this company requires of you to obtain YOUR OWN medical records. If you miss one block on all of these forms you "do not pass go" and the best part is that no one bothers to tell you. You can try to call if you desire, and you will be left on hold for eternity and never get to actually speak to someone. You can call your dr. office but they will shift the blame to Medicopy. After seeing all of these reviews it makes me question why any clinic would actually use them! If at all possible avoid this company at all cost. Dealing with them will be worse than any injury or illness you are dealing with. I don't know how they sleep at night. read more

The absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with. They never fax in any of my paperwork to the insurance company but continue to say they did and nothing is ever received. It has taken over 3 weeks after each doctors visit to get a disability check because they are lazy and never do their job. They continue to lie and say they send it when in fact they never do and when you talk to someone new they say they will fax it and then it never happens. This place should be shut down!! read more

Poor communication and even worse service. I've been trying for a month to get my allergy records transferred to a new local clinic. I have been given the run-around by multiple representatives--promised "expedited" delivery dates that never happened, only to be met with hostility and rudeness when I followed up. When I was told to follow-up each time! The last person I spoke to hung up on me after acting like my inquiry was an "annoyance." I've already rescheduled once and then had to have my consultation without the necessary medical history because of these delays. If you work here, please help me get my records processed; the current system is failing patients. I'm not rude, I'm not a troll. I have been EXTREMELY kind and understanding every single time I have spoken to people with MediCopy. Yet every time I'm told to call back it must mean a mark against me because the quality of the calls fell consistently and I've been treated like I was hounding them. I've abandoned the hope of obtaining my records for the time being. I can't take the continued stress of this situation because - I'm ILL. I'll eventually have to start it all again, because I NEED my medical records. I don't know why it has to be this difficult. read more

i had some paperwork that is supposed to to be faxed over to Aflac on Tuesday and here it is Friday and still nothing, you can't get a hold of a real human being. The lady I talked to on Tuesday said she will send it right away and still didnt fax it. it takes 2 minutes to send a fax!!! I tried to get my doctors office to send it direct but they said they don't do it that way!! read more

Update....finally received my forms. They all say the RTW date is january of 2025....not 2026. Were all denied at benefits and AFLAC. Now they need to update and send back. I really need the AFLAC payment so I am not happy. read more

I've been trying to get records from this company for over 3 months. I had to reschedule my doctors appointment two times. Now they pushed me out two months for my next doctor appointment because these idiots will not get me my medical records. They sent my MRI results on a blank disc. They promised to get me a new copy ASAP. It's now been a month and I still don't have the records. I would encourage any medical organization not to use this business is they incompetent! read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I needed paperwork completed for my employer, my doctor sent the info and it was completed incorrectly. I called and spoke to Joshua and we over what needed to be corrected, information was still wrong. I called, emailed and no response back. I finally spoke to another person, don't remember her name, she was helpful and corrected the form but was still missing important info. I asked her to correct and her computer was updating so she would send it over as soon as it updated but it took 5 hours and multiple emails, texts, phone calls to get the correct version. I finally received what I needed although much later than I should have. I let my doctor know how terrible they are. read more

I had Cervical Spine Surgery Nov 13th 2025. My Employer sent my packet of forms as soon as I requested, in that packet were all the Medical Forms to be filled out for work and to get short term disability (I work and live in Nj). My surgeon Excellent BTW is from the Rothman Institute, they use Medicopy as their third-party to fill out your paper work, they're a scam. I started a claim with them a week before my surgery I 'm still waiting for a response. I had my surgery on Nov13th 2025 and back to work as ofv1/5/26. I was able to get my appropriate paper work filled out from my Doctor's office because of the incompetence of Medicopy.My Dr's office had tons of complaints regarding all the paperwork. Horrible service! I made SEVERAL requests for a MRI and XRay by checking the box (All Medical Records), but I kept getting general information about me only. I finally called and was told I had to request the MRI and XRay by checking a different box. Then what the heck does all medical records mean ? Isn't an MRI and XRay a medical record?? I was also told I would get a link to the MRI report but the link sent would not open. PS: I still haven't received what I need and it's been a month since my first request! read more

When Vanderbilt decided to use this company, they obviously did not look into the quality of services their patients would receive. I reached out to the company to check on the status of my paperwork and the WFH agent, Morgan, picked up and placed me on hold immediately for over 25 minutes, LITERALLY. When she finally returned to the line, her excuse was that her computer shut down. I am sure she was just not prepared for work and being that I was the first call of the morning, this was her way of trying to get prepared. It is unfortunate that I have been a patient of Vanderbilt for over 15 years and I am now searching for another provider that does not use this company as a 3rd party. read more

HORRIBLE! I can see I'm not alone in my opinion of this company. I moved and needed to establish a new PCP. She wanted a particular pathology report from my previous doctor and I was informed by that previous doctor's office that I'd have to complete a medical release form with Medicopy. I completed a medical request form on 1/8 and received confirmation of completion, but then nothing. Called my previous doctor's office on 1/15 to find out how to obtain an update from this 3rd party resource and provided the number to Medicopy. Spoke with a call center rep (Adrianne) who sounded like she just rolled out of bed. She stated that it took 3 business days to process. When I mentioned that today was 5 business days, she stated that it wasn't processed yet and couldn't tell me when it would be. I then asked if I would receive an email indicating when it had been processed and sent to my doctor and she stated that I would not. I then asked if it was expected that I would call my doctor's office daily to find out if the records were received and she replied "yes." Insane! When I asked to speak to a supervisor (because I felt Adrianne's knowledge was questionable), she said she didn't know anyone she could transfer me to. I stated that there must be a protocol provided during training that would tell her how to handle a call that required more info. She then stated she was going to end the call. She also refused to spell her name for me. What kind of company is this? While sitting on hold the recording states that they pride themselves on making this a seamless process. It has been everything BUT seamless. Is this a large company or fly-by-night? Unfortunately, when your doctor's office prefers to use a 3rd party service, they wash their hands of any responsibility. I've said it before and I'll say it again, patients have the legal right to their medical records and when healthcare providers make this difficult, they should receive some type of citation or warning. Shame on them and any company that is responsible for providing this service and fails to do so. read more

I am a patient of Knoxville Orthopedic Center and have to deal with is company multiple times. Lost papers, wrong emails, crappy phones, I've dealt with it all. Thirty dollars for each single page form and 15 dollars for each additional page. You have to call Nashville a day or two after the paperwork is turned in at the office, and, depending on what kind of filling it is, there is a ten dollar additional fee if you pay by phone. You CAN'T pay at the KOC office with cash. What a pain in butt and wallet! read more

Medicopy incorrectly filled out my maternity leave form, placing my leave in jeopardy. The assured me over the phone that my leave date would be correct, but it was incorrect. As a result I had to drive two hours round trip to get my doctor to redo the form. And then contact my employer's insurance and tell them to disregard Medicopy's version of the form. It was a total preventable fiasco for which I paid $30 and waited two weeks. Beware. read more
