Brandon was recommended by a BNI peer so I reached out with a greater level of trust that he actually earned. In our first call, Brandon provided a great sales pitch and was surprised by the level of preparation that we had already invested with a website draft in XD, custom graphics, professional headshots of employees for team page, professional video for homepage, and updated copy completed for every page of the website. Brandon told me that this would be an easy project and his team could probably get this done in a number of weeks, but couldn't make any promises. As a business owner, I completely understand! Under-promise, over-deliver! However, Brandon made me feel pretty good about delivery being completed within 90 days max. Alex is the smartest person on AMWN's team and is great at what he does. He deserves better team support! Alex was excellent with strategy, tactics and communication. We mutually agreed, after 90 days, that an Ads campaign just wasn't a valuable investment for our niche'. Honestly, if Alex was not a man of integrity holding Brandon accountable, I don't believe we could have ended our Ads agreement Timeline: Dec 15, 2022 - Signed Agreement Dec 27, 2022 - We were onboarded - 20 min call that typically takes most AMWN clients 1 1/2 to 2hrs. The team told me I was the most prepared client they had every worked with. Onboarding doc was complete before meeting and all GDrive folders populated with Magnolia unique assets. Team confirmed that web page build would not take 90 days to complete with the XD design file, copy and assets provided Jan 17, 2023 - Requested call with Brandon, concern for lack of communication. Guaranteed personal oversight by Brandon Mar 03, 2023 - 'draft' website link sent by Tera. The insanity begins..... the 'draft' was a template website. The XD file design provided (see attached) was not utilized and NONE of our unique assets were used??! Immediate call to Tera with confession, "I never created your project folder for web designers to access your assets..." What??! I asked how many design hours had actually been invested into my project in the previous 90 days? No clear answer Tera asked us to wait a couple of weeks to fix her mistake (real estate industry was getting busy by this time and I didn't have personal time to be the project manager for AMWN who was charging me a premium for this easy web build). Mar 23, 2023 - no response after I requested an audit of our web build Mar 27, 2023 - still no response back; I request refund April 3, 2023 - Brandon finally reaches out and gaurantees delivery in 30 days April 17, 2023 - Brandon withdraws another $1,499 for a total of $7,995 in payments April 21, 2023 - Obvious that AMWN refuses to be accountable. Approaching 120days and no website!! Email with request for full refund June 30, 2023 - Hire a web developer for $550 to utilize XD deisng file, assets and copy (call me for referral) July 31, 2023 - final edits and website published! I ordered four prints of some Yelp signs on foam board on a Friday night and had them all done on a Tuesday morning. Bryan, my printer contact, was very attentive and communicated constantly via email. When I got the signs, I realized they were all in red, shit, I had only sent him the red versions! I needed four signs, but in different colors; red, black and gold. I emailed Bryan immediately and told him about my mistake. Bryan got back to me within a few minutes and said he could get the new colors done ASAP. On top of that he gave a discount for the new order. My dude!
