Hard to give a 5* yet because it's temporary at the mo and brand new. But this place definitely has huge potential and is going to be a great new addition to the Brum lunch scene!
They will be setting up here permanently soon, at the moment it occupies basically a doorway between Halifax and Santander on New Street.
Bread, cakes, sandwiches and CRONUTS! Not the originals, obviously, but a delicious recreation of Dominique Ansel's classic. Full of fruity filling and topped with a lovely frosting. There's also cruffins which were also fantastic, filled with Nutella and topped with chocolatey things...
The garlic mushroom and cheese sandwich was also a winner, as was the pizza (also made with their homemade croissant pastry - so a crizza I guess) topped with heirloom tomatoes.
Absolute quality establishment and this will be far from the only time I'll be visiting... read more
