She came to the ER today and arrived around 1:30 pm. She is laying in a bed in the hallway at 9:00 pm while we wait to speak to a doctor in hopes of having her admitted for treatment. I have never seen such an inefficient process and lack of attention anywhere. It is no wonder medical costs are so high and quality of care so low. I honestly do not understand.

His…read moreoffice is so convenient to Elon and its students, and it's incredibly easy to find (always a plus when you're directionally-challenged). His nurse is incredibly friendly and efficient. He's also very careful to not overstep his boundaries. He'll perform pap smears and other lady things that I've found some men won't do, but he's also quick to say when he isn't sure about something, in which case he'll refer you to a gynecologist. He'll even call and set up the appointment for you. Because he has awesome doctor powers I can usually see a gyno the next day. My only bad experience with him was with an intern he was training. I'm usually okay with interns because they need to learn, however this female was a terror. Not only did she brush aside every concern I had (I make detailed lists when I go in), but she also had the gall to tell me that one of my pains was minor and chastised me for complaining when other people went through "real pain." So when the doctor came in, even though I thought I was fine (why should I doubt the intern?), he still insisted on checking everything out. Thank goodness he did because that pain was internal bleeding and I needed surgery. I could tell he was pissed at this intern for blowing me off (unfortunately he didn't hear some of her other comments), but I really would have liked to see him chastise her. I understand that he had to be professional though. So to sum up: Awesome doctor. but strongly consider refusing when they ask if you'll see the intern.

Stephanie was very friendly when we spoke on the phone and in person! She made me feel comfortable. She read the input I wrote on the form I had to fill out, about my upper back and having 'knots' there. She did a wonderful job! The massage was very relaxing and reminded me how much I needed one. Almost fell asleep! The room was clean and smelled nice which is how it should be! Also, a GIANT plus, was the massage was a full hour and the undressing time/waiting to enter back into the room, did not count. I noticed while booking online, that payment plans were available and thought that was pretty neat since I've never seen that before for massage therapy. Not sure if it was specifically for massages, but definitely a good question to ask if interested! Perfect amount of pressure, hit all the points I needed, so relaxing, so kind, I feel so comfortable. I am just sad that I live several hours away. I will definitely be back when I am coming though, it is just had to find that level of care and appreciation now days!
