I have cracked and damaged roof tiles (Spanish Tile Roof) that Nationwide Insurance says is normal wear and tear. The west side of my house suffered scattered damage to the vinyl siding, and this vinyl siding is no longer available. The higher-ups in Nationwide Insurance, Mark Fitzer (614) 435-4262, have continually delayed and since May 30, 2024, have still not satisfied my claim. They have told me that one side of my house needs to be a different color than the other sides and my broken roof tiles are fine, unless I want to pay for the repairs myself. My only response is to speak truth to power and let you all know how Nationwide has treated me. They don't promptly return phone calls and when they do they speak kindly, and then email me a letter saying they will not cover the damage to my property. I hope to remind Nationwide Insurance that doing the right thing is important, and integrity should be above short-term corporate profits.
