Pricey dishes but they were delicious. Another beautiful winery and a very friendly staff. I tried their red wines and they weren't as full bodied and flavorful as the California wines that I'm used to. Our waiter was so nice and went to consult with their sommelier to find an estate syrah that was close to the wines I like. The restaurant is in a beautiful house, and isn't too big, so it doesn't feel crowded or noisy. The decoration is simple and has a homely feel to it. We were a group of ten people. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They suggested getting an assortment of entrées to share, which was a good idea as we got to sample a good part of the menu. We did the same for desserts. The food was delicious and original, as some dishes offered a interesting mix of flavors (for example, the menu comprised an omelet with melon and mint and a curry with watermelon). Overall, I think everyone enjoyed their food. The food was tasty, flavory and fresh. A lot of the vegetables and herbs come from the restaurant's garden, which you can take a walk in after eating or between courses while enjoying the scenery. The bread was homemade and really good (and that means a lot coming from a French person!). As for drinks, we had white wine and red wine, both of which were really good.
