When I went to the doctor he put me in a cast for 4 weeks and said I was to be non-weight bearing for the same time. Needless to say, his treatment was a game changer for me. I was panicked at my new life station. How was I going to get around campus to my job? How was I going to get into my house? Crutches just would not work for me. I am far to clumsy for crutches. My doctor told me about Criticare and so I went there looking for a knee scooter. They fixed me up in no time at all. They showed me how to use the scooter and get on my merry way. The scooter was terrific. A week after I had the scooter, I had another little spill when I had to swerve to miss someone who stepped in my way. The scooter wheel alignment was off so I took it back to Criticare for what I thought would be a quick repair. I was wrong... there was no quick work around for this issue. They were going to have to keep the scooter to fix. The problem was they did not have a replacement scooter. They were all rented out. I panicked because there was no way for me to get from Point A to Point B without this device. Criticare offered all sorts of alternatives, they looked high and low for a replacement. When they realized they did not have another scooter, they called a competitor to find a scooter for me. They reserved it in my name and gave me directions to the other store. I could not believe how kind and generous they were to me. Not many businesses would send you to a competitor. I was overwhelmed. The staff is top rate and so very caring. They do everything possible to get you comfortable and to find the right product for you. When other customers came in for service, you could tell they formed a personal relationship with the customer. They were friendly and remembered details about the customers. One of the staff members said to me, "I remember you! You were here a week ago, weren't you, Tracy?" She was spot on. Great place and wide selection of materials.

Last fall I Purchased a drive electric bed and upgraded the mattress to a therapeutic zone one for no extra cost. The price was comparable to the best price on the Internet. The bed was needed for my problems with Gerd, a slow emptying stomach, and difficulty breathing on a flat surface. My sleep quality and time has dramatically improved. I just spent a week in the hospital and got one nights sleep on their hospital bed. I finally got a decent nights sleep when I got home. I had tested the highly expensive beds that adjust but they didn't feel right and i'm glad I chose to look at a hospital bed. I had to hesitated probably because of vanity but the bed looks good and a good nigh's sleep is great. I'm just I would highly recommend Home Medical equipment . The quality of the garage and services and the highly competitive prices are all excellent.

I checked with Lincare to provide me with stationary and portable oxygen concentrators. I was…read morereferred to Oxygo a Lincare subsidiary. I spoke to Linda T. at the Lawrence Kansas office and explained to her that I wanted to acquire oxygen concentrators that I had a present supplier (Inogen) but I was not happy with their services. Linda immediately told me what she needed to have before transferring my services to Lincare, she kept me informed all thru the process. Once the final paper work was received from my doctor I had my new equipment in 8 working days. The equipment was delivered to my front door, by a young man, who was completely professional thru out the process. I asked him to provide specific lengths of oxygen tubing and was assured they would be mailed to me asap. This company provided the same exact portable concentrator that Inogen one provides, the only difference is that the equipment says Oxygo and not Inogen. Also Inogen would not provide me a backpack with the rented equipment , If I wanted one( and I did) I had to buy it. Lincare provided the backpack as part of the equipment that came with the rental equipment. The real benefit to using Lincare's Home Oxygen to you is that if I have a breakdown I will not have to wait 24-48 hours before the equipment is repaired or replaced. Inogen just could not get me a replacement within a reasonable amount of time, mainly because they do not have local offices. I would recommend to anyone who is in the Belton/Killeen/Temple area and need oxygen concentrators portable or stationary under Medicare and/or Tricare , call Lincare/Home Oxygen 2 U, and they will treat you right. I also have high hopes that in the future when I need expendable oxygen supplies they will provide them in a reasonable time frame. I appreciate that Linda T. took the time to listen to me and was able to provide the equipment that I needed without a long delay.
