I spoke to Linda T. at the Lawrence Kansas office and explained to her that I wanted to acquire oxygen concentrators that I had a present supplier (Inogen) but I was not happy with their services. Linda immediately told me what she needed to have before transferring my services to Lincare, she kept me informed all thru the process. Once the final paper work was received from my doctor I had my new equipment in 8 working days. The equipment was delivered to my front door, by a young man, who was completely professional thru out the process. I asked him to provide specific lengths of oxygen tubing and was assured they would be mailed to me asap. This company provided the same exact portable concentrator that Inogen one provides, the only difference is that the equipment says Oxygo and not Inogen. Also Inogen would not provide me a backpack with the rented equipment , If I wanted one( and I did) I had to buy it. Lincare provided the backpack as part of the equipment that came with the rental equipment. The real benefit to using Lincare's Home Oxygen to you is that if I have a breakdown I will not have to wait 24-48 hours before the equipment is repaired or replaced. Inogen just could not get me a replacement within a reasonable amount of time, mainly because they do not have local offices. I would recommend to anyone who is in the Belton/Killeen/Temple area and need oxygen concentrators portable or stationary under Medicare and/or Tricare , call Lincare/Home Oxygen 2 U, and they will treat you right. I also have high hopes that in the future when I need expendable oxygen supplies they will provide them in a reasonable time frame. I appreciate that Linda T. took the time to listen to me and was able to provide the equipment that I needed without a long delay.

Upon walking into American Care Equipment, despite the sign enforcing masks on the door, at least three people were not wearing masks. One was a salesperson! Two were a couple together trying out chairs and as they left, the husband was literally blowing and spitting out of his mouth (he did not appear to have any mental issues - I observed his behavior the entire time as I guarded my mother with my body). The store was dirty with dirty masks lying around on the chairs. Crowded, no masks, no sanitizer. KC Home Med Supply was AMAZING!! Newer building, great and helpful MASKED employees. Sanitizer right when you walk in that they ask you put on before touching anything. HVAC system running loudly and very very clean. Will be purchasing from there.

They said they would have to all cleaned and ready for me when I got there. They asked if insurance was paying for it and I said I didn't know. They asked for my insurance and called them and got me preauthorized. They had me call my doctor and fax over a prescription. They also noticed it was my right leg that was broken and asked if I want a right leg elevator to rest my leg on. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they called my insurance while out in an open office area were everyone could hear my ID, group #, deductible, etc. I think they should have done that in a back office where it is private and no one else could hear my information. Besides that they were fast and easy to work with.

Pharmacy staff told me that I could get a 6 week supply for $300 for my 1.7 mg weekly dose. I had already paid for my 3rd refill when I realized they have only been giving me a 4 week supply, so basically I overpaid by $300! I might as well have stayed with Reflexmd. When I picked up my third refill they gave me a convoluted explanation that sometimes you get 4 weeks sometimes it's 6 weeks and the shelf life of 28 days in the vial. I wish I would have known that from the start!! I will be filing a complaint with the pharmacy board and any other governing body. I should have checked and I thought it looked like a small volume for each refill but I trusted them because they're a local pharmacy. Stupid. Check the amount they give you and make sure it's what they said!!
