I didn't want to wait for Medicare/Medicaid to approve a wheelchair purchase b/c they take too long and they usually spend the least amount of money for a person's medical needs. Instead, I paid out of pocket for a nice wheelchair that was originally $300. I paid $85! And the service was great, too. There's a guy named Bob who fixes wheelchairs and other mobility devices. He was friendly and thorough! He made sure that my wheelchair had everything it needed. He swapped out some parts for better parts and fixed the two footrests about two weeks later because one of them kept falling off. All of their profits from sales go back into the Multiple Sclerosis community to help people pay rent, get jobs, etc. I am glad I could help out by buying one of the wheelchairs. I plan on returning in a month or so to buy some more used accessories for my wheelchair. There WAS a weird woman who kept pestering me about things I was looking to buy. At first, I thought she worked there but she was just an obnoxious customer. She kept trying to touch my hair! My caregiver had to tell her to back off! Thankfully, she wasn't there the second time my caregiver and I went there. Anyway... ;-)

They required stitches after being ran over. National Seating & Mobility knows of this problem & sent someone out to be measured for chair replacement. Instead, he made some adjustments on it. I believe that instead of doing the right thing, they are waiting for the 3 years to be up so they can bill Medicare & be paid for their screw-up. I hope she never does business with National Seating & Mobility again. The chair was originally bought in October 2023. She's been fighting it ever since.

Truth is even the one day of work that WAS done was shoddy quality. i am (was) putting my house up for sale, and had made commitments based on joe's word, which evidently means nothing, and now i am left holding the bag, with fall/winter approaching, and no time to bring on new painters in a timely fashion. i want to be very clear....there was never a cross word between us, and this is not a case of not getting along. he just decided he couldn't do the job, got in his van and drove off without even telling me he was leaving. do not make the same mistake and hire this company!!
