As you can see from the following email chain(starting from bottom to top), Joe can't be trusted to keep his word or follow up. The house painting was done in 2014 and it's now 2018 and the calking has not been repaired. unfortunately, i have nothing good to say about my very recent experience with cascade painters and the owner joe. he got up and drove off the job without informing me that he was leaving. he gave me a fair bid, he committed on dates, started the job, then one day into it, informed me that he had underestimated what it would take, and left me hanging with a signed contract! Truth is even the one day of work that WAS done was shoddy quality. i am (was) putting my house up for sale, and had made commitments based on joe's word, which evidently means nothing, and now i am left holding the bag, with fall/winter approaching, and no time to bring on new painters in a timely fashion. i want to be very clear....there was never a cross word between us, and this is not a case of not getting along. he just decided he couldn't do the job, got in his van and drove off without even telling me he was leaving. do not make the same mistake and hire this company!! read more
