We decided to take the kids to visit and we had the best time! If you decide to go for a one-off visit it's a bit pricey at $25/person, so if you live close by (we don't) it could be worth it to get a season pass. This is not your average farm -- it has everything from food stands, tractor rides, playgrounds, sandboxes, and more! It's more like a farm / carnival / Idlewild light combo. We enjoyed trying some food from a few different spots and was delighted to find that they did offer hard cider for adults. The way that the farm is set up it really does cater to parents with kids -- allowing for the adults to sit back and have a conversation while the kids go nuts on the corn beach. Corn beach you ask? No, really, it's super fun and everything sensory. They even go as far to have an abundance of porta potties and hand washing stations. With 2 little kids I was never worried about getting them to the bathroom in time. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the lack of pumpkin patch -- unless I missed it! In the summer they feature a sunflower festival and the fall is the fall festival and I can't wait to go pick some sunflowers.] Will I be back? Absolutely!

The staff: Saved the best for last. Carrie and John are amazing people along with their entire staff. Carrie was with me every step of the way throughout my entire planning process. She gave me her personal cell phone number and always responded. My wedding unexpectedly grew by about 30 people and she was so helpful. John, the owner, was so gracious and accommodating to every need we had. The bartenders were hands down the best team a bride could ask for. Everyone loved them, they were super attentive and dealt with the large amount of people that attended. I left my wedding night with more friends than I arrived with because of how great the staff was. I would gladly give any of the staff a kidney if they needed one. I am already trying to think of more events to hold here. Thanks for making one of the most important days of my life even more memorable. I owe all of you.

They clean up too quickly - I ate the leaves in my salad and left the walnuts and strawberries best for last - and while I had my back turned for 5 seconds they cleared it without asking. 2. Similarly, while the dance was going on, they cleared away the water and glasses. These are near unforgivable sins that every other venue I've been to had no trouble with.

While I was mostly focused on the bride and groom, and having a good time, I do remember speaking briefly with the owner. I thought her presence made the place seem more personable. I don't recall her son, but the staff was helpful and the event seemed to go seamlessly. I loved the serene setting. The pool was beautiful (that's one of my main motivators for returning this summer), and the guest house is lovely. Based on my experience, this is an excellent establishment!

The man who let us in acted as though we were inconveniencing him. I was told to make my own breakfast the next morning. Then on most of the other days (I was there several days for business), there was someone there to cook breakfast but she rudely told me that they had noticed I was in too much of a rush to eat breakfast a couple of mornings so they had decided that I wasn't "a breakfast person" and so I wasn't "on her list" and she had nothing for me. Last morning, there were a number of guests having breakfast and it looked as though there was enough food. I ask for some and was grudgingly given the tiniest slice of quiche I have ever seen. (There was more left over.) It was cold as a tomb in my room. There was a little rickety table, but it wouldn't hold my computer and papers, so I ended up working on the bed. Probably all for the best. i needed to stay in bed to keep warm. I've stayed in some pretty dodgy places, much less beautiful than this one, but never have I encountered such coldness and rudeness.

They were so patient about avoiding flowers that are toxic to cats and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. Even though they don't typically carry dark or gloomy arrangements, they worked with what my daughter loves -- sunflowers and the color green -- and created something truly unique. They added little green gems to the sunflower centers and tied it all together with a giant green bow. My daughter was over the moon when she received it. Thank you, Kraynak's, for listening, caring, and going the extra mile. This is customer service at its finest. You've earned a loyal customer for life!

I hired Oakwood to take pictures at my wedding. I am very disappointed with my pictures. Most of…read morethe pictures have flaws whether it is too dark, too light, grainy, off centered, blown out, cut off, or crooked. There is also a lot missing. I saw the second shooter was taking pictures but they were not included? I feel that 421 pictures is not a lot for the time that they were there. (About 7 Hours) Examples: There are no pictures of the best man and maid of honor together. There is so much missing and that doesn't make sense. - There is a picture of the chandler and the sunset that they posted to their own personal facebook but didn't give me. She told the BBB she took this picture with her cell phone for her own personal use. She also was posting to her facebook during my wedding. She was very rude to a few of my guest. Her boyfriend was the second photographer. They were outside taking pictures of themselves during the time I was paying them to take pictures! Then they posted these pictures to their facebook, before I even got these horrible pictures back. I asked them to give me the raw photos and they declined. They are also ignoring my attorney's calls and emails and letters. Her father has sent me a threatening message and also is posting slanderous comments about me on Oakwood Photography's facebook. I have all the documents to prove this and would be glad to show anyone that wants to see.

We saw they had a band playing - it was cold out - so decided to give it a shot. All seats were filled when we got there .. but as soon as a seat opened up .. we grabbed it!
