He even taught me how to use them (lol) and recommended some decorative fireplace screens to keep our littles safe around the open flames and mentioned we should by plug-in carbon monoxide sensors to make sure we stay safe. For the repairs, he took extra steps to fix the gas valve and get the pilot working correctly on both fireplaces, which we really appreciated. Overall, while there was a hiccup in communication about pricing, Devyn was responsive, professional, and willing to work with us to make things right. What more can you ask for? It took me a year to finally call Ashes Away in Durango and last week they looked at my fireplace, replaced the missing part and recommended replacing the starter even though with a cleaning it is now working. Their total bill with two trips from Durango will be about $500. They didn't see any problem with the venting!
