Not to mention that Dr. Gallos is fluent in all facets of dental needs, from a cleaning, to affects of clinching, on to a filling and even completing comprehensive root canals. You just don't see this, nor can you hardly ever find such comprehensive support from any dental practice within Illinois...having one Doctor capable of all these things.     While the dentist at this practice is highly skilled, our experience with the office staff has been…read moredeeply disappointing and stressful. We have repeatedly encountered unprofessional behavior, including being spoken to in a condescending manner, interrupted, and even yelled at over the phone--making it nearly impossible to voice concerns or ask questions. Additionally, there have been ongoing issues with insurance billing. Despite confirming coverage and accurate information with both of our insurance providers, the office has continued to submit claims incorrectly. When we've tried to bring this to their attention, instead of resolving the matter calmly, we've received harassing and aggressive phone calls--sometimes while caring for our 2.5-month-old baby at home. Most concerning is the unwillingness of the staff to allow communication with a manager or the dentist when we requested help. Threatening to send a patient to collections while refusing to acknowledge or correct their own billing errors is unacceptable. Because of the repeated mistreatment and lack of professionalism, we will not be returning to this office. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and to have billing concerns addressed, not ignored or escalated through hostile interactions.
