I…read morehad pretty long hair, I made an appointment the previous day and requested a senior student and told them I was quite nervous. On the phone and in person they reassured me, and in person they reassured me. I had a student in her final week. I asked for 90's blowout cut. The instructor came by once and briefly looked at wet cut hair. Everyone was so so nice. But it took her an hour and a half to do the cut, and I had already told them I only had an hour and a half. So I left without my hair really styled, and I ran on my way. When I got home I gave my hair a proper wash so I could put product in and style it. That is when I noticed the terrible butcher chop that was my hair. I reached out to the school to get my $20 refunded and they said I needed to email them photos to the owner. It has been nearly two weeks and radio silence. Please see photos for evidence. The two sides of my hair looked nothing alike. I had to cut it to the highest chop, so now I have a bit of a lob when I already wanted to preserve my length. And I had to pay someone to save my hair so this $20 cut has cost far more. Just know not to come here for a cut...she was in her final week and will be in an ABQ salon shortly.

Well, as I am about to get my Masters in Accounting from Anderson, I guess I am qualified to review…read morethe place. The best thing about Anderson is that you don't have to guess if you will get in. At least, not yet. They have not yet switched over to competitive admissions - as long as you meet the criteria, you are in. I had to take two pre-reqs, but considering I was a Psych major, that's hardly surprising. The faculty are generally really good. There are a few here and there who don't seem to care, but you can avoid them in most cases. They just lost one of their best to retirement (McKnight) which is unfortunate - he was a very tough but very fair and extremely effective teacher. I went into this degree thinking it was a nice backup for my law degree, which I am now working on.They have a dual degree program, which is nice, but it's rarely used so no one really knows how to make it work. The rules are stricter on the law side, so if you go that route, make sure you know everything about it before moving forward. The advisors were crucial to me in the beginning, but I haven't needed much from them once I got going. However, they are there and fairly easy to communicate with. As a nontraditional student, it's difficult for me to get to them in person during the day since I work. However, they are really good about getting back to you via email. I did have to find a way to get to them in person a time or two at the beginning, but that was it. In general, I feel I have learned quite a bit at Anderson, and should I choose to go into Accounting I will be well prepared. It's all public accounting, which was not what I had expected, but a good foundation for the profession. I give it a thumbs up!
