The Dr and nurse staff are wonderful. They're so caring and patient. My mom is 101 years old and has been to them several times. They give her such excellent care. I have gone to Med Center Urgent Care several times in recent years, most recently after a fall that left me with a serious injury on my forehead that required stitches. The personnel were wonderful, as always. The doctor took her time and explained that she was going to work slowly to do what she could to minimize the scaring on my forehead. It has been 8 weeks since my fall. I followed her care instructions and am delighted at how good the scar is looking. I will continue following her long term care instructions and believe that it will be hardly noticeable in months to come. I had pain in my ribcage. I was shaking pretty badly while I was at the Med Center getting stitched up. She asked me to come back the following day so she could check my wound and also wanted to have xrays taken of my ribs. I think they had to wait because I kept getting the shakes. Thankfully the xrays did not show any rib damage. Everyone I have dealt with at Med Center has always been pleasant and professional. If the need arises again, I will definitely go there for help. read more

Bunch of morons for clinicians. They don't know what they're doing at all. And the staff has the customer service skills of a bad of sand.

First visit here, very difficult to find. Waze, Apple and Google maps couldn't locate it. The app just drops off in the middle of the street. Located in self standing building in the middle of a strip mall parking lot inside of an Urgent Care facility. Checking in was unusual, as soon as you enter the door the check in reception is right there. The receptionist asked for my mother's ID and gave me a clipboard with approx. 20 Xerox copies of forms that I had to fill out. I knew this is going to happen so we checked in about 30 minutes prior to the appointment so that I could fill out all this paperwork for my mom in order to establish as a new patient. The paperwork was tedious and very outdated like paperwork from 1985. Luckily I had all of my mothers information and I was able to complete what I could. The waiting room is small and didn't seem to have enough seats for all the patients waiting. I couldn't tell if we were in the private practice portion or the urgent care portion as everyone was kind of lumped into one waiting room. First impression is this clinic just feels dated. The building, the decor, and the furniture. My mom was called and they took us back to an exam room. The nurse was nice. One thing I noticed about the exam room is that there is no computer so all of the paperwork and orders by the doctor and nurse were written by hand. My mom got seen for about 5 minutes by provider and he seemed nice enough. I was frustrated because he asked us why we were here today. I had told the reason when I made the appointment, to the receptionist, and the Nurse. We were able to refill my mothers medication's and also get some labs that were long overdue. We have to go to another location for labs which my Mom really care for. The doctor misspelled my Mom's name on the order so that really didn't make a good impression with her. Overall experience left me a little ambivalent. The care we received met our immediate needs however, no real care plan moving forward. So we will see how the next visit goes. read more

This place is really hard you can miss it. The entrance is sort of funny. Came in here they didn't accept my insurance. I had to pay cash it's 120 a visit not that much. I did not seem busy a lot of workers , wait was about an hour almost. They said they accepted it at first my insurance then they didn't, so I paid cash. Came in the back the medical assistant did a great job , assisting taking my blood. Here for a pre op, the provider was nice. If I could I would give it a 3.5 , it was not that bad , the wait could been faster and the place is really out of date. read more

Not sure about some of the negative reviews, but I can say my experience with my son was very good. We came in to confirm an ear infection that flared up as we were driving home from vacation. The girls at the front desk were very nice, polite, and patient even though they had to deal with an exhausted and overheated momma trying to juggle the unhappy four year old. The wait was a little long, but it's an urgent care, and even though there were three people in front of me, I think they got my son in in less than an hour. The doctor who saw him was wonderful and listened to my concerns. My little guy is relatively healthy and this was his first infection and round of antibiotics. He has since finished his round of antibiotics and is all better. read more

Longest wait, I did not even get seen. Seems like they prioritize the patients that are there for job injuries. The nurses were very busy facetiming and bringing the doctors on the job to their calls to talk to other people and have casual conversations while people were waiting for care. So unprofessional. It's understandable to want to take your time to see your patients and take care of them, but having them way over an hour for this inconsistent with wanting to take care of them. Waiting is part of the experience and this experience was unacceptable. Nearly 2.5 hours waiting after being told 1 hour ago we'd be next. Again not sure how this is acceptable by your office and doctors. Oh and let's not forget taking copays before being seen is trapping patients to terrible wait times so they can stay with this one provider. Separate urgent care and workers comp care. I arrived at 3:10 and they refused to see me. They close at 4:00pm on weekends and the website said to arrive 30 minutes early. The somewhat unapologetic clerk asked if I could return the next day. I was there because I was sick and needed help, so no. I then went to carbon health which turned out to be so much nicer and fast. read more

Urgent my ass. Came in with 4 parties in front of me and waited over THREE HOURS in the waiting room AND A WHOLE HOUR waiting for anyone to help me in the exam room. Its absolutely abhorrent and disgusting practice. A guy came in to get stitches, and the front receptionist acted like he didnt matter till he insisted heavily, and he did end up needing stitches. When I FINALLY got seen by the doctor, i was a little shakey from not being able to eat for 4 hours, he took one look and said i need to go to the ER. Completely missing the reason i came, not listening to me at all, and clearly doing the ABSOLUTE LEAST AMOUNT OF CARE POSSIBLE If your medical problem is that your life is too long, Med Center sure can help get rid of some of that for you. The PA who sees patients doesn't have a valid license. I came here for an ear infection and couldn't get the prescription filled because it wasn't approved because her license was expired. The pharmacist said that this clinic continues to send them prescriptions even though they have informed the urgent care that they aren't valid. Find a different place. read more

Find a different Urgent Care. This was by far the worst experience I've ever encountered at a medical facility. I was prescribed the wrong medication by a nurse practitioner and ended up in ER the following evening. When I arrived, I waited in an empty room for over 1 hour to be seen. When I was finally called in I was seen by a nurse practitioner. He's demeanor from the very moment he walked in was dismissive and evasive. He ignored my questions and comments. He had no interest in what I had to say. I have never been treated with such disdain by any medical professional. He began writing up a prescription without asking detailed probing questions, as any doctor would have. He spent less than 1 minute, literally, in the room with me and then asked me to follow him to the front desk, where he handed me the prescription. I asked a question regarding one of the symptoms and he says "some say they feel weak".....and literally walked away. I asked the girl at the front desk if there was a doctor available and she said "he" was like a doctor. I asked for an MD and she said there was none there, but there was one or two at the clinic next to them. I still don't understand what that actually meant. The following evening I ended up in ER, because I was prescribed the wrong medication. read more

Came in bleeding with a large slice in my finger. No one was at the front desk so I waited there for 10 minutes before someone saw I was bleeding and sent me to a back room where someone cleaned me up and had me hold a bandage on it till the Dr. came in. Long story short, I got 3 stitches and was told to come back in 7 to 10 days to get them removed. 3 days later the first stitch came loose and fell out, by 5 days all 3 stitches had come loose and fallen out and the wound was opening up. Rather than go back I just used band-aids to keep the pressure on and the skin in place so it would heal correctly. read more

Before I came here I called the front desk and ask how much it cost for a visit and a x-ray. She told me the visit is $110.00 and the x-ray is 95.00. I said ok I will be in. I have been coughing, throat hurts etc etc. Vey sick. My doctor friend told me to get an x-ray and make sure I do not have pneumonia. So I walk in sign my life away on all the forms. See the doctor who is a black lady. I do not remember her name. I felt the doctor cared more about up-selling things to me then getting me well. "Here you can do a breathing treatment here for 60.00. You can get a steroid shot for 80.00 plus your visit for 110. Plus the x-ray for 95.00 and then we send them out for someone else to read for another 25.00 (which no one told me about from the start). Wow I can easily spend 500.00 here in one hour! Hey listen to my lungs, x-ray them make sure I don't have Pneumonia, see my colored phlegm. Give me some antibiotics and send me out. I will not come back. I felt in a weak and vulnerable state It was like buying a car. Add this, upgrade this, and then there's more cost!$$$$. Yikes. I should have read the negative reviews before I came. I thought I could have faith that the doctor actually cared. The girl Deanna who took my x-rays seemed to be the only person in here that cared and was genuine. So I will give the two stars towards her and the rest will be blank. I do not recommend coming here. Do your research. read more

I unfortunately don't know that I will be back to this place, even though I've been going for 10 years. I went in today, on a Sunday at 1 with severe ear pain. They told me that I had an ear infection and that they would send the antibiotics to my pharmacy (I did not receive a paper prescription). They closed at 2. I went to my pharmacy and no prescription, called them and the front desk assured me it would be sent over before they left. And here I am in extreme pain with no way to get ahold of them to just call my pharmacy and tell them my prescription for antibiotics. They need an on call doctor or someone you can contact once they're closed! read more

Wow! Went into the Med Center for a physical and was blown away! Having to wait was no problem, because a nice young lady was so accommodating with coffee! The doctor was so kind! VERY professional and overall a great experience. Not everyone enjoys going to the doctors but for once I did! The manager Denice checked me out and double checked in with me about service! I will never go there again, it was a waste of time and money. If you have a choice you should consider going somewhere else. I was the only patient there and had to wait over 40 minutes before they brought me back to a room and made me wait another 10 minutes before a Physician Assistant came in. I was really annoyed because the staff was just standing around doing nothing. I could understand if they were busy but that was not the case. I was suffering from a severe migraine and was in a lot of pain. I was told to go home and take Excedrin which didn't work. I ultimately had to suffer it out until Monday until I could get in to see my physician. read more

We rushed to the Med Center after our daughter's arm was immobile and not getting better as the day went on. It was swelling and she was very scared and we didn't know what to do on Easter weekend. It was only after getting there, we realized that we forgot our wallets and insurance cards. They were very accommodating and made us feel at ease while they took our information. We didn't have to wait long at all to be seen. After a quick diagnosis, it turns out she had something called a nursemaid elbow which is common in children under the age of 6. They took x-rays and popped it back into place in a matter of minutes. Their bedside manner was amazing and our little girl left there feeling like a million bucks! My daughter went to this urgent care very sick and paid $95.00 to see the doctor, the doctor gave her a antibiotic called amoxicillin and she had a allergic reaction to it so she called the next day to get another antibiotic and this really rude doctor named Dr Preston refused to call in another antibiotic. She told my daughter to go and buy some gummies instead. She even hung up on me while I was still talking. Very unprofessional behavior from a so called doctor. Maybe she is so bitter and nasty because she works for a urgent care instead of having her own private practice. If you go here and see a dr Preston maybe you should worry about the diagnosis. If I could give zero stars I would. After this doctor refused to change the antibiotic my daughter had to go to the hospital from being so sick and they gave a antibiotic. This urgent care is awful. I'm giving this rating based on my experience with them this past week. The daycare called me to pick up my son due to an injury. When I got there, my son was in pain and he has a bump on his injured leg. I called my doctor for direction- should I go to urgent care or ER? They told me I can go to any urgent care as they do not have availability. I drove to the nearest urgent care and asked immediately if they could help me or if I should drive to the ER with kid crying in my arms. I was about to lose it. But the staff, doctor and nurses, even the patients waiting in the lobby were very compassionate. They took us in immediately, helped me get my stuff together. They X-rays, tried to schedule me an appt with the orthopedist for casting, they tried to make it as comfortable as they could for my son and I. They were sensitive to this distraught mother. I had to come here for an injury work related well sadly I didn't have a sitter and the lady came into my room being rude asking if I had someone to take her when I stated I didn't and asked if they could use a shield for her she laughed at me and said well she's not getting the X-ray you are then tried to make me leave my child with the receptionist she continued to be rude I was visibly upset at this point so I said I would leave. read more
