I initially called Worthington for an emergency fix after a circuit blew in my office and wouldn't reset. They were patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable as they addressed my minor fix, and after a bit of talking about an existing frustration with my electric system, they made a few suggestions that were much simpler than anything I'd been offered by previous electricians and contractors. What's more, the quoted cost to implement those suggestions was less than half of what I had been quoted for similar work in the previous several months. I was able to schedule the appointment at my convenience, even though it ultimately resulted in their technicians being on-site until almost midnight on a weeknight. Their admin team is also extremely quick and communicative, and the workers were thorough and polite. Will absolutely be using these guys over ANYONE else in the future!

Only half of the work was done and they were no where to be found. We called several companies to finish the job that was licensed and insured but everyone was trying to charge us more money to take out what the previous electrian already put in. We also called Smooth Electric LLC and they came out to see what needed to be done. They gave me a quote that I thought was very fair. They pulled the permits, they finished the rough in and they got it inspected in little time. I was very impressed how they constantly kept in touch with us and sent us pics of a lot of things that were done or in progress. His communication was just what we needed for that sense of security because of the previous worker. After we painted, they came back and finshed the job and we are so greatful for their amazing work, amazing communication and their honesty. Thank you Smooth Electric Ester Mayfield

We signed a contract, and he took a very large deposit from me. The work was supposed to be completed in 15 days. 8 months later and being left with an in completed job. I decided to take this contractor to court for breaking the contract and won a Judgement. In spite of him bringing 2 bogus letters to court from 2 electrical contractors (Chris Richards of CR Electrical & Newman Lewis of Nation Builder Electrical and Tiger Electrical Academy) WHOM BY THE WAY NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN MY PROPERTY. NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN MY PROPERTY. But yet they were willing to lie for this Contractor which speaks volume to their integrity. In any event, they wrote letters stating they acknowledge 90% of the work was done. The judge saw through all 3 contractors lies and awarded a Judgement in my favor in access of $7,000.00. The judgement was entered on 10/05/2023, Five-months later since the judgement and the contractor has yet to pay a dime on the Judgement. So please when you see this Contractor James Brown, Smooth Electric, run! The only SMOOTH thing about this contractor is that he will take a deposit, not complete the job and then find other contractors to lie for him. Additionally, the office he operates out of "610 Old York Road Suite 400, Jenkintown, PA 19406" is a "Virtual Office". Meaning it don't exist!!! Everything I've stated above is public record. See for yourself. PLEASE BE WARE!!!!!!!!! The Craigslist Post I.D. is: 7729602433. Go to Craigslist where I was able to post a copy of the Judgement!

We used Muscatello Electrical for knob & tube remediation in May22. I was so anxious about this job…read moreas other electricians had told me to expect "hundreds" of holes and made me feel like the costs were unpredictable and likely to balloon. Working with Muscatello Electrical was such a good experience from start to finish. Thank you so much for helping us make our home safer and providing such a seamless experience. I really liked Mike from the estimate visit because he was very straightforward (while others seemed to use showy scare tactics). The estimate was black and white- a quantitative, itemized count of what would need to be done and how much each one cost. Shocked to say that we actually saved $2k off the final bill because a few circuits ended up not needing to be done Everything was very well-organized. Colleen coordinated with us in advance on timing, permits, etc. and I can't say enough about how great Mike and his team were. They were here for 2 weeks. We knew what to expect each day - who was coming, at what time, what they were doing. My husband and I both work from home and we have 2 dogs so thought it would maybe be chaotic. But it went so smoothly. The team was very punctual, professional (covering the floors and cleaning up after themselves) and friendly but so respectful, with hardly any impact on our work from home schedules. They went out of there way to minimize damage to our walls e.g., they routed wires from the basement to the second floor via an old floor to ceiling built in in the cabinet, so it's not even visible. There were not nearly as many holes as I expected overall, and they patched them well enough that I was able to just take care of the sanding and painting myself vs. hiring someone professionally. So happy this job is behind us, but would highly recommend for others looking to get rid of their knob and tube. Thank you so much Muscatello Electrical!
