Ribs , really great!
Mike G.

I love this place! It recently opened and I have been wanting to try it for weeks! I picked up a rib platter to go with coleslaw and bake beans. The ribs were absolutely amazing , you can taste the passion for barbecue in every bite! I was impressed with the dry rub , it was so good ! I really liked the sauces I tried too , I can tell the chef likes brown sugar! The hot sauce had brown sugar or molasses in it which was interesting and I didn't like it at first but the second taste made me a fan ! The vinegar sauce was also really good! The coleslaw was awesome! I just thought the beans were alright and would have been better if eaten in instead of taking out. I can't wait to go back and try some other meats!

My first time eating here. Ordered food to dinner in. Simple ordering process & food was delivered to table. Inside is cozy seating, couple of tables & two long family style seating. Order pulled pork & brisket meats. Good flavor and decent portions. The meats were not dry, on the contrary, were a little wet, more oily than greasy. Also ordered collard greens & baked beans. The greens were not as flavorful as other local bbq places, surprised no meat tidbits were added, just straight greens, just a little tough too. The based beans were good, standard fare. There were only three bbq sauces, not sure what they were, but they were really good flavor. I sample all three with my meats throughout my meal, which I could not finish. All in all, I do plan to go back again to try the other meats & wings.

BEST barbecue we've had in a very long time. Thanks so much Eric for a great experience!

Great food and good service, located in Quakertown's Trolley Barn public market. Eric was very helpful and kind.

This is the best bbq you will find in the area, closest I have found to genuine southern BBQ. Absolutely delicious!!!

I tried the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. Ribs mildly smoked which is good but kinda tough to chew. Brisket was dry and was disappointed that it was pulled, not sliced. Pulled pork and collard greens had well seasoned taste. The mac n cheese was dry, like boxed mac n cheese. Sausage fatties tasted deep fried which my husband wasn't expecting. They ran out of items too fast. Wings and candied bacon look tasty, may come back to try.

Pretty good barbecue but the prices are crazy. $30 for a three meat sampler platter is way too much

This is an ideal setup. I've spoken to the pitmaster while I was eating outside. Super nice guy. They've always been a humble place who never thought of themselves as "above the people" which is why when we had that flood in 2021, the community rallied around them so fiercely. Back to food. Several sauces for the pork, available to get as much or little as you need. The Mac and cheese is good, like, "bring me back a plate at the cookout" good. And lastly the greens are superb. Some people shouldn't make greens. These are not those people. The acid, the smoke, the consistency. I've never gotten them and they were different from last time. Look at my reviews. I probably am overly critical with some places and am not overly generous with others. They deserve all 5 stars

Slightly outside the Lehigh Valley, but after stopping in, I can confidently say it's absolutely worth the drive. I had to start with the wings, smoked to perfection and then fried for a crisp finish. Each bite hit with smoky flavor, crunch, and a sweet-savory kick from the Asian sauce. Simply incredible! After the wings, I moved on to the BBQ sampler, which includes three fall-off-the-bone ribs, two slices of tender brisket, a tasty, well-seasoned drumstick, and juicy pulled pork. For sides, I went with mac & cheese and BBQ baked beans. They weren't nearly as impressive as the meats, but were still enjoyable. My friend ordered the chopped brisket sandwich with mac & cheese and natural cut fries. She likes it so much she orders the same thing every time she goes. The counter service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and I still haven't tried the brisket burnt ends, so I'll definitely be back.

The concept is good but the execution could definitely use some optimization…read more Some of the challenges we ran into: 1. We had to ask for water repeatedly and our server forgot to help us turn on our hot pot stoves (and she was also impssible to find). 2. Many utensils were missing, including the spoons for the hot pot, seafood crackers (for the crab legs), and bowls for the hot pot. 3. We ordered the udon 3 times - and finally gave up. 4. Usually, grills are switched out pretty frequently - we had to ask when our grill was literally non-usable. 5. Expect that you will be missing items from your order so patience is a virtue. The meats are ok with some much better than others. 1. I would recommend loading up on the fatty brisket for the hot pot as that was actually very solid. Be sure to order a few portions as they are quite small. 2. For the BBQ, the ribeye, marinated short ribs, and bugolgi are solid. The angus steak and chuck flap were both a bit tough. If you are in the mood for fish, the salmon is a good option - the cuts are thick enough that you can get a nice medium rare if you watch the grill closely. 3. The buffet has snow crab legs and crawfish for dinner - do NOT skip out on the crawfish as that was a highlight. They were fresh and very flavorful with Cajun seasoning. Peronally, I prefer the order-from-tablet approach at KPot as it cuts down on the wait time, especially if your server is MIA but this will satisy a craving in a pinch. It may have been an off-night but the venue was not packed tonight so that should not have been a reason for some of the misses.

I mentioned my preference for non-MSG items, so they made sure the broth I selected didn't contain it. Since Top Pot is a chain, you can be assured that the food quality is consistent with what you'd come to expect here at this location. It's part of the Montgomery Mall, so it's super convenient to get to, with a huge parking lot outside. For just a couple of bucks more, you can get both Korean BBQ and hot pot, so it's totally worth it. Plus, the marinated beef on the Korean BBQ doesn't contain any MSG either. A big win for those like me who are sensitive to it but nervous about ordering certain dishes. You will be fine here ordering the food.

The salad was a bit underwhelming and we wished there was more salmon sashimi in it, but the dressing was good and it was a nice and light dish to start with. The Pork Regular Combo was plenty for us, and had a good variety of pork belly, jowl, and spicy bull-dwaeji to try. We ended with a really tasty marinated galbi. Our meal also included steamed egg, corn cheese, and doenjang and kimchi jjigaes, which did not fall short, either. Our waiters were extremely attentive and accommodating! Our original reservation was scheduled for 8:30 PM and our plans changed, so we wanted to come in earlier. The staff did their very best on a packed night and were able to get us in at 7:30 PM and made sure to call us to let us know. We had a waiter grilling at all times, so our food was ready quickly. SALT is tucked in a plaza with plenty of parking on a busy night. The restaurant itself was cozy, but one thing we did notice was how quickly we ran out of space at our table.
