Plentiful street parking is available outside the store. As what I noticed the owner tries to keep the store clean, neat and organized. Some of the item prices are more affordable as compared to other well known groceries. This is where I prefer to purchase raw unshelled peanuts , so that I can cook fried garlic peanuts, and prefer to get fresh red delicious apples. Costumer service is not that preferable (a one time experience), I may describe some staff as dismissive, may lack empathy, or show no interest in solving the customer's problem, and I understand that each costumer experience may vary. Sometimes language barrier could be an issue. I've had an unfortunate experience here while recuperating from a recent surgery. After I was done purchasing some items and while I was pushing the grocery cart towards outside, a staff who is very anxious to help bring back the cart in place has forcibly pushed my cart resulting to minimal pain on my surgical site. Today I walked into Nagilah Market to stroll the aisles and see what was offered behind the large glass paynes of the stores front which looked like a hybrid of Odd Lot meets Wholesale Liquidators with the window dressing of someone on a bit too much peyote. The inside of the store was disheveled and if you could make out any methodology of rows, your wiser than mouse than I as it felt like some experimental maze for humans. Items everywhere, pricing labels were few and far between and no logic to placement of anything. But after getting my bearings I began to fill my basket with many extraordinarily well priced Middle Eastern products. Cans of sardines, grape leaves, teas, spices, oils and more. Upon check out I was asked by the man behind the counter what were my intentions with a particular spice I selected. The other four men who were at the counter, seemingly all buddy buddy with the owner stopped talking to listen to my response. "Purely experimental" I stated as was the case. "Oh" he stated, "I thought you were a chef". Whatever the answer, he proceeded to take the plastic container from me, walk to a large area of loose spices and grounded me up a fresh batch. How cool is that? A full basket of cooking goodies ran me a Jackson and I once again have the coolest contents in my fridge of all my cooking buddies, for now.

They got goat, beef, and chicken and they have every part that you can think of. We Bengali's use every part and eat almost everything. Anyway I saw this place online and decided to call first to make sure I don't suffer the same faith by going to a meatless meat market. When i called they said they had all the meat I wanted so I journeyed around four block on foot. When I got there all the meats was chopped up and prebagged ready to go. The down side is that they are a little bit pricier than the other meat market and I felt they cheated me a bit by not trimming some of the fat off the meat before they weighed it. I asked the guy to trim it first before weighing and he said he couldn't trim anymore off because he had already trimmed it and the meat is naturally fatty bla bla bla... but after it was weighed he said "OK I'm gonna trim it up for you"... I was like wtf are u kidding me? Overall the service was fast, they had everything I needed, even got a free calendar... ha. I would definitely go back again, just gotta keep ur eyes on them.
