I saw a sign for Iron tribe and figured I would walk in to check it out and instantly could tell this was a different gym. The coaches are great and really strive to make it a great atmosphere and focus on each individual member to help them attain their goals. I always leave each workout with a sense of accomplishment and a smile on my face. This gym is truly one of its own kind and I highly suggest everyone give it a shot. Trash is overflowing, litter is around the toilet stalls, rolls of paper towels sit in water on the sink counters... the sanitary wipes for machines are empty and there is literally litter throughout the gym, on the floor. And fair warning, you can also expect to have Jay throw something at you as you walk in and yet strangely, you look forward to it. The best way to get a sense of what it's like to be a Symmetry client is to take advantage of the free consultation offer. But if you're like me & want a sense before u set foot inside the door then u should check out the testimonials on their website. I tried to cut & paste mine here but it exceeded the text limit! Actually everybody should read the testimonials. When u look at their testimonials you will see the diversity of the clientele and how much we care about the gym & our respective trainers. The testimonials offer a very detailed and genuine peek into the gym so to speak. It's rare for a gym to get so many clients to actually write out testimonial -- even rarer for them to be so open and personal. That's true with respect to Facebook too. How many gym's have pages that customers actively engage with? They go beyond sharing just fitness info and celebrate their clients on that page & their clients appreciate it (yes, I am speaking from experience ). They told me I should plan on only doing pilates or swimming from here on out, but that wasn't going to work for an active person such as myself. It ended up being weakness in my last two toes which Jason had an exercise for along with the rest of the weak parts in my body. Needless to say, I've discontinued seeing both of those previous advisors and have started my journey back to a stronger, healthier me with SYMMETRY. I've been working closely with Coach David these past few months and I've seen an incredible amount of progress in both my strength and endurance. The SPENGA class is divided into 3 different activities 20 minutes each: cycling, a few rounds of resistance-based exercises, and finally some light yoga. The transitions were very well coordinated, and music was bomb. It was a full-body workout and every minute there would be something different, so it was never boring. I liked that there were videos of the resistance exercises playing during the activity so you could work on your form, and it was nice to be able to do everything at your own pace. There were people of all fitness levels there and plenty of space for everyone! It's $69 for the 1st month then $169/month for unlimited classes, $89 for 4 classes, or $129 for 8 classes.

First time,I arrived and left immediately because the air ducts smelled like mold. Tonight, the smell was even worse--it smelled like sewage. I asked the front desk clerk about the issue, and she was kind enough to say that a plumber had come to assess the pipes and found no problem. I appreciated that she took the initiative to open the doors and air out the place, but it was still rank. Now, let's talk about the upstairs area. My boyfriend and I were concerned a couple of months ago when we noticed three huge cracks across the entire length of the cardio equipment work area. Needless to say, this issue made me feel unsafe, so I decided to work out downstairs that day. When I asked about it at the front desk, the clerk said he would bring it up to the manager. However, the cracks are still there. But the smell is the worst part. It's just awful. I'm starting to consider looking at other gyms because this place seems to be getting worse and worse.

That it wouldn't be a massive set of treadmills it wouldn't be a pocket gym with no manager just a card. The place would have been decorated not feel like a basement. The staff would welcome you by name. There'd be free wi-fi access to water and coffee and men and woman's bathrooms with showers. The machines would be new and in pristine shape. Owners Jon and Michelle were welcoming and actually took the time to show me which machines I'd need to do each part of my routine. Normally YOYO unless you have a trainer. But yes they have those too. Paraphrasing Ms Riding hood not too big not too small just right. And did I mention the free wifi and being called by name?

I've left a voicemail requesting someone contact me back & help get this corrected, but based on reviews it seems like chances are slim I will ever hear back. Absolutely would not recommend this location. The anytime website suggests you give a 30 day notice to cancel, typically with commercial gyms that means they will charge you one more month & you will have access to the gym until your membership lapses, apparently not the case here. If this were a boutique gym or one that offered anything other than sweat stained, smelly machines, I could understand a monthly rate of $80. It will, however, never make sense for a place like this one. Choose wisely & choose somewhere else! -someone who frequently worked out here based on convenient location

Excellent instructors who built a loyal community have been removed, while members' concerns appear to be dismissed. In my interactions, I found Christin's ( the uncertified newly hired fitness manager ) management style controlling, hostile, and completely inconsistent with the supportive environment a fitness manager should create. A once-great gym now feels more like a profit-driven spa boutique than a member-focused fitness community. I no longer trust the leadership or recommend this location--especially for group fitness. Think carefully before joining or purchasing prepaid training. They should not be able to get away with violating capacity in small heated rooms , injuring clients and getting away with it and teaching classes without training or certification. Christin is a liability.
